Drake has achieved many achievements both in acting (Degrassi) and music. There is one thing however, Drake has yet to gain, his high school diploma.

In a recent interview with NOW Toronto, the Canadian admits school, not music or acting, will be the focus of his summer.

Drake admits, “I’m actually spending my summer graduating high school. That’s my main focus after OVO Fest. I only have one credit left and I’m really excited about that.”

Selena Gomez has decided to follow the footsteps of Emma Watson and pursue a college degree after finishing her High School. Selena Gomez actually is home schooled but had the luxury to attend a graduation function. In a ironical way, Selena Gomez also was shooting a High School graduation scene in her upcoming movie Monte Carlo.

Selena Gomez admitted that she does want to continue her studies and has decided to join college. While she will most likely only take online classes, it will be interesting to see what college she goes with!

Kristen Stewart is pleased she was able to be a full time actress at a young age- because it gave her the chance to escape the high school she hated.

The 19 year old admits she was happy to put high school behind her, “I was glad to leave school. I couldn’t relate to kids my own age. They are mean, they don’t give you a chance. I think the social aspects, I haven’t missed out on. I am around people constantly. I meet hundreds of people at work. Once you have done with school, you realised it’s just a smaller version of life.”

But the star still remembers the bullies who made her life unbearable when they found out about her acting.

She adds, “When I was there, I was never the type of girl to be walking around talking about acting, so I didn’t get a lot of hassle until someone found out. I was trying to play it down, but I definitely got, ‘Oh she’s such a b**ch.’ They’d never spoken to me, but instantly they were like, ‘You are so rude.’ I am not rude.”

Miley Cyrus opened up to Popstar! on high school: ‘Girls can be so mean, I will tell you that right now. They can be so catty and it’s just so horrible and that’s the worst thing. I tell my mom all the time, like I honestly don’t know if I could make through high school.

I would probably be home-schooled because kids are so mean. I had the hardest time when I was in school, I just couldn’t handle it. The way kids look at you, just one look can change your life forever and make you feel weird about stuff in a certain way or make you feel weird about the way you look. It’s terrible!’

If Miley can handle the pressure and the constant judgment by millions every day, I have faith that she would grace through high school beautifully. She’s a strong girl, she shouldn’t doubt herself so much!

Meaghan Jette Martin updated her MySpace today to inform everyone the good news that she finished high school yesterday!

So today I finished high school. DONE. completely and utterly finished. I walked into my school at 9:20 am and turned in my last packet of school work.

Meaghan says it was a big moment, but she doesn’t know if she’s realized yet how huge of a change it is! “I always knew the day would come and I knew that it was coming soon… but it just seems so crazy to actually be there. I’m going to start college in January and I can easily say that I’m pretty scared out of my mind, but everyone around me has been very supportive and I think I’ll be able to manage.

The good news continues as Meaghan gave news about her upcoming T.V. show, 10 Things:

It’s the first day of shooting the new ABC Family TV series I am on “10 Things I Hate About You”. I have been waiting for this day since January 31st when my phone rang and the writer/executive producer told me that the show was going to be turned into a series. Actually, I take that back, I have been waiting for this day since the moment I decided I wanted to be an actress. I am so pumped to be working with a cast that I adore on a show that I truly love. I am beyond excited to get started and even more stoked for you guys to get to be involved when the show airs July 7th at 8 pm (be sure to watch every Tuesday at 8 after that hehehehe).

Congrats Meaghan!

ba113 While Taylor Swift is accepted just the way she is now, a few years back she was considered one of the ‘weird girls in school’ as mentioned in her interview with TigerBeat magazine. Taylor admits:

‘The best thing you can do in school is to not try to be too cool. My friends and I took pride in the fact that we were the weirdest girls at our school. We never fit in with the cool girls because we didn’t really care what people thought. We has so much fun goofing off and being being crazy. We would go out to dinner in our prom dress, accessorized with scarves, fingerless gloves and costume jewelry. Sometimes we’d draw a beauty mark on our faces, wear
a tiara and funny slippers. We didn’t care!’

Dakota Fanning isn’t homeschooled

I really like these pictures of Dakota cheerleading with her private high school yesterday for a football game. It is a breathe of fresh air to find someone who can actually still attend their high school without being completely home or trailer taught. The fact that she can go to the premiere of her new movie one week, and the very next weekend be on the field cheering on her team gives me hope not everyone in Hollywood will grow up spoiled.
