Selena Gomez opened up on how she hasn’t been on a date recently, but is in no rush to find her perfect match.
From the Daily Mail: ‘Unfortunately, I haven’t been on a date in over six months. In hindsight, it doesn’t really seem that long between dates. The truth is I haven’t met anyone, but I’m young. I don’t need to have a boyfriend right now. I figure that you will have about 1,000 dates until you get to your perfect guy’.

Selena Gomez opened uo to MTV on Wizards of Waverly Place ending, and her upcoming sophomore album:‘Unfortunately, I’m doing my last season of my show, which I’m really heartbroken about. That’s gonna be a terrible time for me. I’m going to do a movie for my show, which I’ll be excited to end it with, and then a tour.’
On second album: ‘The title so far of my album, I mean, I’m hoping it will stick is A Year Without Rain. It’s basically one of my favorite songs on the record. It’s kind of got a more feel-good dance beat and feel. I love it. It’s different, kind of shows my growth of my music. I think if anything the lyrics are powerful, in a way.
‘There’s the song called ‘Intuition’ that’s one of my favorites. The message is basically every decision that you regret or second-guess, [just] do it [anyway]. I love that message so much.’
Lady rockers are the latest victims of a weak concert season. Organizers of the all-female Lilith Fair Festival Tour, cancelled almost one-third of the scheduled shows on Thursday.
The lineup will vary as the tour proceeds, with artists such as Emmylou Harris, Carly Simon, Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Selena Gomez and Heart lined up for appearances.
Organizers originally scheduled 33 dates, but McLachlan admitted that ticket sales for the shows were “pretty soft.”
The 2010 tour, Lilith Fair’s first incarnation since 1999, kicked off last week. That show — which featured Sheryl Crow, Erykah Badu, and Colbie Caillat –drew just 9,000 people to a stadium that holds approximately 35,000.
Here are the affected tour stops: Salt Lake City (July 12), Montreal (July 23), Raleigh, N.C. (Aug. 4), Charlotte, NC (Aug. 6), West Palm Beach, Fla. (Aug. 10), Tampa, Fla. (Aug. 11), Birmingham, Ala. (Aug. 12), Austin (Aug. 14), Houston (Aug. 15) and Dallas (Aug. 16).

The 17-year-old actress – who was discovered by Disney in 2004 and plays lead character Alex Russo in the hit show – is close to everyone on the set of the hit show and says they feel like a family.
She explained: “When the cameras are not rolling we are definitely like a family. We’re constantly like picking on each other and talking.
“I think the person I’m closest to would definitely have to be Jennifer Stone, who plays my best friend Harper Finkle on the show.”
Selena Gomez opened up to The Mirror to discuss getting into acting at an early age, and her normal way of life for someone associated with Disney.
On deciding to be an actress at age 7: ‘I think a lot of kids that age are like, ‘I want to be an astronaut. I want to do this or that’, but I knew that’s what I really wanted to do. I think you can be a lot more fearless with those decisions when you’re younger.
My mom kept me in school as long as possible, so I got that kind of normality growing up. Actually, a lot of the kids made fun of me because my first job was on a kids’ show they all watched, Barney And Friends, but I still enjoyed acting, I didn’t let that stop me.’
I just like to do normal things and I’m not into the partying scene. My job’s so crazy that in my free time I just like to stay in and watch movies.’ On life: ‘In my world there’s a lot of things available to me. But I think having some sense of authority in my life reminds me I’m just a kid.’
