Megan Fox’s mother only found out about her daughters wedding to Brian Austin Green after news of the nups leaked to the press.
The Transformers actress secretly wed the ex-90210 star in Hawaii last week during a romantic beach vacation. The couple said “I Do” in front of a small group of friends and Brian’s young son, Kassius, at the Four Seasons Resort on Hawaii’s Big Island on June 24, but when reports of the nuptials first surfaced on Monday night, Megan’s mom Darlene was one of the people left wondering whether her daughter had really exchanged vows.
Of course, she’s not surprised. That Megan just loves to be “low-key.”
She says: “If there was a wedding I wasn’t there – but that’s Megan all right. She would have wanted something low-key. She’d sneak off somewhere and surprise everybody later. If it’s true they’re married I’d be a happy mama.”

Sorry guys, Megan Fox is officially a one-man woman. The former Transformers hottie married her longtime boyfriend, ex-Beverly Hills, 90210 star Brian Austin Green, during a clandestine ceremony in Hawaii late last week.
The couple said “I Do” in front of a small group of friends at the Four Seasons Resort on Hawaii’s Big Island last Thursday.
Brian and Megan met on the set of the now-defunct TGIF comedy Hope And Faith in 2004. They first announced their engagement in 2006. The couple split in early 2009, but ultimately reconciled and got re-engaged last month. This is the first marriage for both, although Brian has an eight-year-old son from a previous relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil.
Kassius joined his dad and new step-mom for the special occasion. Brian celebrates his 37th birthday on July 15.

Megan Fox has revealed that she dreams of starring in a remake of the cult movie, The Lost Boys.
The actress confessed that she is a huge fan of the comedy horror flick. “They couldn’t remake it because it would destroy it, but I’ve always loved The Lost Boys. The female character in it is not really amazing, but if you were to turn one of the male characters into a female, I would love to do that.”
She added: “That movie has stuck with me my whole life. There’s something magic about it for me,”
Megan may have recently quit the Transformers franchise, but the actress also revealed that she will not be making any romantic comedies just yet as she feels that she ‘isn’t old enough.’
Fox stated: “I’m wary of doing romantic comedies, you could end up doing them all the time. Business-wise, those movies are very safe.”
The actress continued: “But I’m 24, I don’t belong in a romantic comedy yet. A black comedy like Jennifer’s Body maybe, but I don’t know if I could do something like The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.”
Megan Fox insists she would never complain about receiving more attention for her looks than her work as she has not yet given “any reason” to win praise for her movies.
She said: “I’m totally aware that I’ve never given anyone a reason to praise me for my acting talents.
“So to sit here and complain, ‘Why don’t people recognize me as an actress?’ would be outrageous.”
“I could never be one of those actors who reads everything that is ever written about them. That doesn’t work with my personality. I’d be a complete lunatic, probably drug-addled and out of my mind. Instead, I stay in and ignore it.”

Megan Fox has got engaged to Brian Austin Green – again.
The couple – who split in February 2009 after five years together – are betrothed to each other but have not yet set a date for their wedding. A representative for the ‘Jonah Hex’ actress said: “Yes, she is engaged.” Rumors that Megan and Brian had got engaged again have been circulating for months.
In January, the 36-year-old actor told one of his twitter followers he and the 24-year-old actress were “engaged” in response to a question about his marital status. When the pair called off their engagement last year it was claimed they had done so to concentrate on their work.
A source said at the time: “The relationship had run its course. It’s completely amicable, and they are remaining friends. They are both focusing on their careers.”
Speculation is now rife as to what sort of ceremony the couple may have, with Megan previously insisting their nuptials would be a private affair. She said: “It’s not going to be a big wedding. I’m not one of those girls – if it happens, it will be very low-key and quick and unplanned.”

Megan Fox who has been dating her ‘Smallville’ star fiance since 2004 – admits she wouldn’t be surprised if they tied the knot in the future because they are settled in their relationship and she loves him greatly.
She said: “I’ve been in this relationship for so long and I love Brian so much and of course marriage is in the future somewhere. I’m not closed to that idea.”
The 24-year-old beauty doesn’t mind speaking about her romantic feelings for Brian, 36, because she believes it’s important to tell the world when you decide to commit to one person.
She explained: “I just think, if you’re going to get married, if you’re going to be with someone and make a commitment, it’s good to tell the universe, to say, ‘I’m committing to this person and making them my family.’
“I think there’s something respectable about that and if we were to do it, it would be for ourselves. It wouldn’t’ be for society.”
Earlier this year, Megan and Brian revealed they were engaged again following a brief split last year – when it was claimed they wanted to take time out to focus on their careers.
Megan Fox who is engaged to actor Brian Austin Green and helps raise his eight-year-old son Kassius – thinks people would be surprised to realize how much she prefers home life to wild parties.
She said: “Oddly you wouldn’t think it, but I’m very domestic. That keeps me sane.
“I sort of distance myself from the Hollywood crowd. I don’t go out and socialize that way.”
The 24-year-old star admits she sometimes finds the scrutiny over her personal life “overwhelming” but thinks she has the strength to cope with fame.
She added: “People who make it to this level of fame for whatever reason – whether deserved or not – you have to be a strong person to survive it.
“Because it is very difficult to be under the microscope every moment of every day. It becomes overwhelming.”
The brunette beauty recently admitted she sometimes makes up stories about herself in order to divert attention about her personal life.
She explained: “In the past, I’ve been reluctant to share any bits of truth about myself or to really let people in on my reality, so I have said some things to throw people off the scent of what’s really going on in my life.
“So I have sort of aided the media in printing these misconceptions, which I regret.”
