The CW’s 90210 will pull a page from the Book of Will & Grace next season when one of the show’s lead male characters will come out as gay.

Liam (Matt Lanter), Navid (Michael Steger), or Teddy (Trevor Donovan) will reveal their true sexuality in a series of episodes set to air this fall, Entertainment Weekly tattles spilled in a scoop this week.

The show’s executive producer Jennie Urman described the move as one of several “great storylines” that will titilate fans this season “We want to address the issue in a real and relatable way.”

90210 will return for its third season on The CW in September. We’re glad they’re opening up to diversity, however we love these three characters as straight, i’d been nice if they brought on two new characters for the story line.

90210 Season Finale Spoilers

So what’s happening in the final episode of 90210 that is so shocking the castmembers are still wrapping their heads around it? Here’s the exclusive 411 you need to know…

What if we told you that Spoiler Alert! Annie was not the one who ran over the homeless man in the season-one finale!

After tormenting herself with guilt and alienating all her friends not to mention putting up with Jasper’s antics for far too long looks like Annie’s off the hook.

The cliffhanger from last season will be answered, Trevor from 90210 admits. “I can’t say it will all be good, but in one of the last scenes of the finale, you find out who actually hit the homeless guy and I can guarantee it comes out of left field! No one will see it coming.”

Sounds like an OMG-worthy moment if there ever was one. So who might the real culprit be? Trevor hints that everyone is up for grabs at this point.

“It is quite the season finale. There are a few scenarios that are mind-blowing’it’s crazy,” he teases. “I am definitely involved, AnnaLynne [McCord] is definitely involved, Shenae [Grimes] is definitely involved, my dad is involved; all of us have little storylines.”

90210 To Become A Must-Watch TV Show On The CW

The 90210 cast, crew, and everyone else who has a heads up on this season are all sure of the same thing, the show is about to become one of the must-watch series on TV.

The Best Is Yet to Come: Since Annalynne McCord already planted the bug in our ear about the beyond horrible thing that happens to her character, Naomi, in this season’s finale, we thought we’d fill you in on what Shenae Grimes told us at Thursday night’s What Goes Around Comes Around Fall Launch party.

“The finale is so shocking that you’ll never see it coming,” she teases. “If I say anything at all, it will just give it away. I don’t want to spoil it, because it’s the best episode we’ve put out there so far—much more jaw-dropping if it can go there.”This coming from the girl whose character ran over a guy and left him for dead? Yep! “I did a hit-and-run, so you wouldn’t think it could get much worse, [but] it’s going to give everyone a new leaf to turn when we’re back next season.”

More Jasper Drama: “I am just as sick of seeing him and Annie together as everyone else is,” Shenae laughed when asked if we’ll ever see the last of her former beau, Jasper. “He’s no good for me. He’s a bad, bad influence. He’s just manipulating her and blackmailing her now. I hope she smartens up soon.”

If you’re not watching 90210, consider it. It’s no Lost or Glee, and might just be soapy, CW fluff, but it’s fun and witty and reminds us of the glory days of the WB’s best teen dramas.

After a little initial flurry in the figures the re-work of the 1990’s hit show 90210 came back with a bang, guaranteeing a ratings success for the CW network.

With a whole new cast of characters as well as cameos from old stalwarts, the brand new 90210 delivers all the bang for your buck and all the glorious backstabbing of the original.

The next season is set to air in the close future – a date has yet to be released by CW as they gear up to debut their new line-up – but don’t expect to see all your favorite characters when 90210 returns to the screens.

Jennie Garth has already announced that she won’t be renewing her role as Kelly Taylor on the the next season and now Rob Estes, who plays Harry Wilson the school principal, has abruptly and unexpectedly quit the show as well; amongst rumors of contract negotiations falling short of the mark.

“The bottom line is that Rob won’t be on the show next season,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com.“ The producers, the studio and Rob came to the conclusion together that his role had ran its course. There just wasn’t enough for Rob to do because the show is more about the kids.”

90210

Rumer Willis landed a guest role in ‘90210’ in which she has been making appearances for the past few episodes. So far the actress has only been given a handful of lines, but that is soon to change when her character  Gia embarks on a relationship with teenage mother Adrianna, played by Jessica Lowndes, in a forthcoming storyline on the US TV show.

The show’s executive producer Rebecca Sinclair said: “This isn’t a fling. We’re coming at this relationship from a genuine place and not going, ‘Let’s do a titillating story that will grab some promotion.’

“This is a real aspect of teenager life that’s interesting. And there’s been a real void in the 90210 universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters.”
