Kristen Cavallari took over Lauren Conrad’s lead role on the MTV hit, The Hills, but now the actress will be following Lauren in a new way – creating her own fashion line.

The blonde beauty opened up on her love for shoes, and her latest adventure, working with ShoeDazzle.com. The collection will be available for buyers to rent shoes created by the star for a month by month fee.

Kristen dished at the Salt premiere, “Shoes are my number one thing. I’m designing a shoe for Shoe Dazzle right now, which is like a one time, one deal show which a portion of the proceeds [will] go to my charity ‘OneKid OneWorld.’ I’m excited about that because I want to have my own shoe line so it’ll be like a good first shoe to get my feet wet with.”

Heidi Montag Having Second Thoughts About Plastic Surgery Makeover

Eight months ago The Hills Heidi Montag shocked celeb-watchers by undergoing 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day. Montag plopped over nearly $50,000 on a chin reduction, nose job, breast augmentation, neck, waist, hip, and thigh liposuction, brow lift, ear-pinning, cheek implants, butt implants, lip fillers, and Botox.

But with her marriage to Spencer Pratt in shambles and the sun prepared to set on MTV’s The Hills this, the ditzy blonde seems to be regretting her headline-grabbing makeover.

A Montag friend yapped to England’s Heat magazine: “She’s thinking about a plastic surgerymake-under now that she’s separated from Spencer. He was the one who wanted her to get the work done. She knows she went too far, and she feels stupid.”

Lesson of the day: Never change yourself for someone else.

After six seasons, the sun is finally setting on MTV’s once-polarizing reality soap, The Hills. And we hear a familiar face is coming back to celebrate the end of the series — although not in the way fans originally thought.

Lauren Conrad, former Hills protagonist-turned best-selling novelist, will make an appearance on the series finale of the reality show scheduled to air later this month.

MTV has confirmed that LC will hobnob with her former “Hillsies” on the finale’s “After Show,” which will find her alongside her with other former cast members like Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge, Kristin Cavallari, and Heidi Montag.

The final episode of The Hills airs Tuesday, July 13 @ 10PM on MTV.

‘The City’ Canceled? Whitney Port Addresses Rumors On Her Blog

Just as The Hills celebrates its 100th episode, rumors began to fly late Monday night that its sister show, “The City,” was going to be canceled just as its West Coast counterpart comes to an end on July 13. But, the show’s main gal, Whitney Port, took to her blog to clear up those rumors.

In an open letter, Whitney addressed the online chatter confirming that she is in fact “100 percent committed” to the show. We expect nothing less from our girl. We love Whitney because she is always committed to everything she does.

“To my friends and fans, I want to clear the air and let you all know that the rumors that have been circulating about ‘The City’ being canceled are NOT true! When I checked my Twitter and Facebook pages this morning, I was overwhelmed with your kind words and support. I am 10 percent committed to the show and thank you all for being the best fans! Now, let’s show our love for ‘The City’ and rock this week!!! Tune in [Tuesday] night LIVE to MTV @10:30. xoxo, Whit”

MTV CANCELLING THE CITY?

Rumor has it that MTV has canceled (seemingly) successful scripted reality series The City. The current season, which airs on Tuesdays at 10.30pm EST, will be its last.

The City, a spin-off of the The Hills, which was a spin-off of Laguna Beach, documents the “life” of Whitney Port, a young designer trying to make it in New York. It mostly takes place at real-life fashion industry companies, including Kelly Cutrone’s public relations firm People’s Revolution and Elle magazine, where main characters Erin Kaplan and Olivia Palermo “work.” (Kaplan does indeed work full time at Elle, Palermo does not.)

In general, we’re a bit surprised by this news.

The City seems genuinely popular, and even if it doesn’t pull in ratings equivalent to those of The Hills (which is also ending this season), it’s much buzzier. For a brand like MTV, it seems like it’d be worth sacrificing some ratings for press.

But we guess that’s not the case in this circumstance. We’re also guessing that, Palermo, who has become a celebrity outside of her work on The City, is “over” the show, as is Whitney Port, who is very serious about her fashion career, even if the rest of the world isn’t.

Audrina Patridge To Write A Book

She’s coming to the end of her run on “The Hills,” and it seems Audrina Patridge may have a writing career in the works.

The reality star contributed to a new book about relationships, and it sounds like she knows what she’s talking about.

In “The Frisky 30-Day Breakup Guide,” Audrina explains how to survive a breakup, having herself recently split with singer Ryan Cabrera.

She writes, “Surround yourself with loved ones and give yourself a few things to look forward to. It’s important to have fun things planned when you’re going through a breakup, because it’s pretty easy to wallow in your sorrow and feed your depression.”

Lo Bosworth Feels Pushed By Hills Producers, Kristin Cavallari to Write a Tell-All

This week’s In Touch reveals that Kristin Cavallari like other cast members has been pressured by Hills producers to elevate drama, especially when it comes to romance. Now, Lauren “Lo” Bosworth tells In Touch that she also felt compelled to include her formerly off-screen boyfriend on the hit reality show. “I like to keep my private life private, but I was really pushed to do it,” she said of filming her relationship with longtime love, lacrosse player Scott Hochstadt, at Cosmopolitan’s Third Annual Bikini Bash in Las Vegas on May 24. But, she added, “It’s the last season, so I said okay.”

In Touch had previously reported that the producers even wanted Lo to go so far as to make a sex tape which she refused so it comes as no surprise that she can’t wait to return to a normal life, without MTV documenting her every move. “I’m really excited for the show to be over,” she admitted. Kristin announced to In Touch that she’s planning to spill the series’ dirty secrets in a tell-all book — and now, it seems Lo will follow suit as an author. “I just signed a book deal with Simon & Schuster,” she said. “It’s called The Lo Down.” Sounds juicy!
