After winning the hearts of teenage girls across the world, Justin Bieber will soon be hitting the studio to record more adult music. According to Sean Garrett:
“What we’re trying to do with Justin is to segue him into young adulthood,” says Garrett. “The one great thing about Justin Bieber is the fact that his fans are going to grow with him. So we want all the fans that started out with him to still be intrigued and excited about him, but we want to also stretch out a little bit and make the fans that are 22-23 years old love Justin as well. When Justin Timberlake went from the last album of *NSync to his first solo album — I want to say [we’re aiming for] that level. That’s the bar for the type of song, that level of ‘Cry Me a River,’ big records.”
Just two months after his critically acclaimed album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was released, Kanye West revealed via Twitter that he has a new album set to be released Summer 2011. The rapper is currently in the studio, and his latest single, “All The Lights” will have the music video launch next week. Do you think Kanye will premiere songs off his latest album at Coachella?

Taylor Swift revealed during a live chat that she will be releasing her next album, “Speak Now” on October 25.
The singer has been promoting her 2009 album “Fearless” for almost a year, but admits that the wait was due to her wanting to perfect the sound.
“You’ve got to give yourself a little bit of time to live a lot of things so you can write about a lot of things,” Taylor said during a Ustream chat with fans on Tuesday.
The squinty-eyed beauty admits the title, Speak Now, will be the theme throughout the album and that “track by track, each song is a different confession to a different person.”
All 14 tracks were penned by Taylor herself. The first single, “Mine” will be released August 16.
At 4PM CDT, Taylor Swift will host a live chat from Nashville to catch her fans up on what she’s been working on and what they can expect from the new album.
“I’ve spent the last two years out on the Fearless tour and working on my new record,” the 20-year-old spills. “I’ve gotten so many questions from fans — on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, my Web site, everywhere really, and it’s so incredible to see how excited everybody is about what’s next. I want them to be the first to know about my new music, and I can’t wait to talk to everybody as directly as I can!”
Tay-hards can submit their burning questions to the live UStream chat window that will be posted on Taylorswift.com, MySpace.com/TaylorSwift, Facebook.com/TaylorSwift, and Ustream.tv/taylorswift.

The singer has been working on the follow-up to her 2008 LP Circus since wrapping up her world tour last year.

I’ve actually been doing tracks that I love, and I can’t wait to go into full production mode, but we’re in pre-production more than anything.
“I’m definitely gonna do my part and try to make it hard-hitting, up tempo, high energy. That’s what I think we need and that’s what I’m gonna shoot for.”
On working with Spears, he said: “It’s so easy and fun. It’s one of the easiest – probably the easiest sessions I’ve had in my career, so I’m looking forward to getting back in.”
