Demi Lovato rocked Las Vegas last evening for her concert with the Jonas Brothers at the MGM Grand Hotel. Tonight Demi will be performing again with the boys in Los Angeles and then we will see her perform at the Wiltern next week! Is anyone else going/ or have seen her in concert lately? Please tell!

Metro Station: A Night At The Grove

Last night Lo and myself made our way to the Grove of Anaheim to see the Disco Balls & Blow Up Dolls Tour featuring, Cash Cash, A White Tie Affair, Tyga, and Metro Station.

The concert began at 6:40 with Cash Cash, a band from the East Coast which sounds more like high school pop trying to sound different, than anything-though we loved them! They had a lot of energy (and dirty mouths) that had the crowd very entergetic given they were the opening act. Check out their myspace for some ear catching, easy listens-but just be warned not all of their lyrics are suitable for younger listeners including ‘Party In Your Bedroom’. If Cobra Starship made a lovechild with The Maine and they were aged 18 years, Cash Cash would be their baby…and a hot one at that!

The second performance, was Shwayze’s substitute, A White Tie Affair. You may have seen them from the MTV episode of The Hills, or their catchy songs on many underground playlists, but even for those who stray from MTV, WTA was just remarkable. They played amazing song after amazing song, their energy was unstoppable, and the lead singers voice was remarkable. They were the only band that engaged with the crowd by shaking hands, getting close to the audience, inviting some fans on stage, and spitting on the crowd. We were one of the people that their guitarist spit on, so while it wasn’t the sexiest move he could have made, we still enjoyed the show.

Tyga took the stage next, after a very long wait by which his d.j. had to keep spinning songs including Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl”. When Tyga finally took to the stage he performed about five songs, of which only one I have previously heard, in which it goes “put the lime in the coconut and stir it all up”. While I respect all forms of rap music, having a 19 year old rapper on the same tour as Metro Station just seemed fairly out of place. He did carry his own however, and made a lot of female fans happy when he took his shirt off and walked through the audience letting girls caress his stomach-which was rock hard mind you; I joined in.

As Metro Station prepared to perform their set, Miley Cyrus walked out onto stage (looking beautiful as always) and introduced her brother, Trace, along with all of Metro Station. Her introduction was short, but she stayed to the left part of the stage their entire set dancing and singing along. We ended up running into her, Billy Ray, and the rest of the Cyrus family when we were walking to our car after the concert and recognized Brandy walking to a black SUV. We were able to walk right by Miley and her family and Lo was able to talk to Miley for a few moments before walking off as I filmed it. They’re still uploading on youtube along with the entire Metro Station concert, so I’ll do a second post when they’re completed.

If you were there, what did you think of their performance, and if not, does their concert seem like an event you would attend?

Miley Cyrus looks beautiful as always, but what was the idea behind the racing themed attire?

A Complete Day Of The Jonas Brothers

sandiego12

Did anyone else see the Jonas Brothers at their California Adventures Book Signing yesterday, or a few hours later when they were guests on the Jimmy Kimmel show? We did both, and were up 36 hours to prove it!

Lo went and camped out starting at 11pm Monday evening, for the Jonas Book signing at 3pm the following afternoon, and although they only gave out 250 wristbands, thousands of fans were unable to go inside due to a good amount of wristbands being distributed to the parents accompaning their children. However, Lo was able to get a few great shots in of the boys at California Adventures when they walked outside for a few minutes to wave to fans, they’ll be up soon.

Later on, we both went to L.A. for their performance and interview with Jimmy Kimmel. The boys performed a few songs including, Video Girl, S.O.S., Burning Up, BB Good and  Tonight. Half way into their first song, BB Good, heavy rain began to downpour leaving the entire audience singing and dancing along in the rain. It was amazing! It continued to rain throughout the entire concert, and afterwards we were able to follow them in their car and wave hello while they were waiting at a red light before speeding (way over the speed limit) off, the first chance they had. Nick was texting away on his cell phone the entire time and wouldn’t look at fans, but it’s ok, because texting Selena is fine with us!

Remember how they are renting a Bel Air Estate? Well, the boys still haven’t sold their Toluca Lake home, and last night we drove by their home to find their tinted black SUV in the garage and all of the lights on in the house. Perhaps it’s where Mommy and Daddy Jonas spend some time away from the boys? Not sure, but since they are still the owners of that estate, only they (or who they allow in) was up late last night with all of the lights on in their house. We were going to hop the rock to look into their kitchen like we always have done, but it was raining and that just seemed even more extreme in the stalking sence than we’d like.

But, enough about us! Did you go or watch? Please tell!

Jonas Brother Sing Christian Worship

The Jonas Brothers performed my second favorite Switchfoot song, 24 (after On Fire) during their free show at HOB on Sunset last night. Selena Gomez and Camilla Belle were in attendance as well.

The Best American Music Award Performance

If you watched the AMA’s hoping for a good performance, there were many that performed well, but one that blew the Nokia Theatre away. Birthday girl, Miley Cyrus had all eyes on her as she performed her new single, ‘Fly On The Wall’. Not only did she look amazing, her voice was incredible, and her performance was like nothing I’ve seen before at an AMA, let alone the energy she brought to the stage. The best part of the American Music Awards is the video above, so watch and comment on your thoughts of Miley’s performance, and the AMA’s as a whole!

Thanks Zebee

Can We Take A Moment Please?

Let us just take a moment to watch this video from the San Diego concert to see Kevin Jonas looking all sorts of gorgeous! He deserves that one of the Sexiest Men Alive title, and he owns it well! Once Nick joins in on the floor rolling/guitar sexiness, my life will be complete.
