Ke$ha topped Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart for the second time in her career on Thursday when “We R Who We R” debuted at No. 1, the first track to achieve this feat since Eminem’s “Not Afraid” in May.
The track is the preview single from Ke$ha’s forthcoming “Cannibal” album, set to be released on its own on November 22 in addition to being packaged with her debut album “Animal” in a deluxe edition titled “Animal Cannibal.”
Earlier this year she became the 11th solo woman to collect at least four Billboard Hot 100 top 10s from a debut album. Her first single “TiKToK” began a nine-week run at No. 1 in December, while “Blah Blah Blah” peaked at No. 7, “Take It Off” at No. 8 and “Your Love Is My Drug” at No. 4.
