Justin Bieber Stands Up For Manager Arrested Over A Tweet

Yesterday, Justin Bieber’s manager plead not guilty to charges of reckless endangerment, criminal nuisance, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Back in November, Justin was scheduled to make an appearance at Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY. But the crowd grew too large and security couldn’t control the group. Police told Justin’s manager, Scott “Scooter” Braun, to send a tweet saying the event was cancelled. Over an hour later, at 1:33PM, this message — sent by Justin or Scooter? — appeared on Justin’s account: “The event at roosevelt mall is cancelled. please go home. the police have already arrested one person from my camp. I dont want anyone hurt.”

Authorities claim it took too long for Justin’s fans to receive that news and are holding Scooter responsible. Ironically, Justin’s now using Twitter to show his support. He tweeted, “#freescooterbraun – support u 100%.” In Chicago, the pop heartthrob, along with this team, wore white t-shirts that said “Free Scooter.”

This whole thing is ridiculous, the Long Island police need to learn the law better and know when they do and don’t have a proper reason to arrest someone. It isn’t the manager’s fault they were scheduled to appear somewhere, and then showed up to where they were legally meant to be. Any problems with overcrowding should have been figured out beforehand, and is someone else’s responsibility entirely, and is in no way, a case to arrest anyone for there not being enough security provided.
