Megan Fox has revealed that she dreams of starring in a remake of the cult movie, The Lost Boys.
The actress confessed that she is a huge fan of the comedy horror flick. ”They couldn’t remake it because it would destroy it, but I’ve always loved The Lost Boys. The female character in it is not really amazing, but if you were to turn one of the male characters into a female, I would love to do that.”
She added: “That movie has stuck with me my whole life. There’s something magic about it for me,”
Megan may have recently quit the Transformers franchise, but the actress also revealed that she will not be making any romantic comedies just yet as she feels that she ‘isn’t old enough.’
Fox stated: “I’m wary of doing romantic comedies, you could end up doing them all the time. Business-wise, those movies are very safe.”
The actress continued: “But I’m 24, I don’t belong in a romantic comedy yet. A black comedy like Jennifer’s Body maybe, but I don’t know if I could do something like The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.”

Megan Fox has been dropped from the cast ofTransformers 3.
Megan, who played star the love interest of Shia LaBeouf’s Samuel James Witwicky in the first two films in the blockbuster franchise, will not return to the series when the third movie opens in 2011, a rep for Paramount Studios confimed to CNN.com’s Marquee Blog on Wednesday.
The “official” word is that Fox has been dumped because T3’s storyline marks the beginning of a new chapter for Samuel and it would be better if the character were not tied down to a girlfriend — even one who looks like Mikaela Banes However, as we celeb-gawkers know, Megan has a long history of tense relations with director Michael and much of the rest of theTransformers cast and crew.
After tabloid rumors surfaced claiming that Megan would be killed off in the forthcoming Transformers feature, the beauty angrily compared her director to “Hitler” and “Napoleon” in an interview with Britain’s Wonderland Magazine.
“He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation,”Megan said at the time. “He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward, so hopelessly awkward.”
Shortly thereafter, members of the film’s crew posted an open letter on the director’s site, condemning the actress for her behavior on set and viciously branding Megan, “the grump of the set,” “thankless, classless, graceless,” “unfriendly,” along with a host of other unflattering adjectives.
Shia LaBeouf’s character is expected to move in a new direction with a new love interest forTransformers 3.
Shia LaBeouf says the second “Transformers” movie got too big for its own good — but the third one brings the heart back to the franchise.
LaBeouf, who starts work on the next “Transformers” sequel Tuesday, said the third installment will be the best one yet. The new script restores a human element that got lost in the second movie, LaBeouf said.
“When I saw the second movie, I wasn’t impressed with what we did,” LaBeouf said in an interview Thursday at the Cannes Film Festival, where his finance drama “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” is premiering. “There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone.”
“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” was a runaway commercial success but was drubbed by critics.

The always sexy, Shia LaBeouf arrived in L.A.X. last night after a long flight home from the Middle East. Shooting for Transformers 2 continues, and Shia still has his hand bandaged. Let’s hope he can still do the fun stunts. The picture’s themselves are not all that exciting, but everytime is always a good time for some Shia updates. I’m sure underaged Selena Gomez agrees.
