Police in Seattle listed the 20-year-old Sean Kingston a person of interest in a sexual assault investigation this week, after an intoxicated young woman accused the singer of raping her in a local hotel room on Sunday evening. However, investigators have declined to file charges after discovering holes in the woman’s story.
From TMZ: “The alleged incident occurred Sunday night, at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Seattle. Sources tell us two women showed up for a party in one of the hotel rooms. Kingston was present. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the women were both intoxicated when they arrived, with bottles of vodka and beer in hand. We’re told one of the women claims Kingston had sex with her, and, as one source says, ‘She was very aggressive.’ Kingston then left the party and went to another room on the same floor. Sources say the woman then proceeded to have sex with two other men in the room. The second woman, we’re told, also had sex with someone in the room.…Police have determined the case is not credible and they now say an interview is unnecessary….”
While Sean appears to be in the clear on the rape charges, his legal talespin with the alleged victims may be just beginning. TMZ tattles claim both women who partied with Kingston last weekend are considerng lodging civil suits against the crooning islander and his entourage.

Kristen Stewart has apologized for her quote comparing the way in which paparazzi take pictures of her as being equal to a woman being raped.
Kristen told People: ‘I really made an enormous mistake, clearly and obviously. I’m really sorry about my choice of words. I’ve made stupid remarks before, and I’ve always reasoned:
‘Whatever. They can think what they want. ‘Violated’ definitely would have been a better way of expressing the thought. People thinking that I’m insensitive about this subject rips my guts out. I made a big mistake.’
The RAINN spokeswoman responded: ‘We appreciate Kristen’s sincere apology regarding these comments. RAINN looks forward to continuing our work with Kristen to raise awareness and ensure that all victims are connected with the care they deserve through the National Sexual Assault Hotlines.’
