Miley Cyrus celebrates her 18th birthday this month, and opened up on what she may do for the special day.
‘I’m not going to go crazy; [just] have a fun party and then maybe take a vacation with my family, that would be really cool. We need time to all be together.
So that would be rad if we could all go to the beach or something. ..[I have] no idea [where we're going]; somewhere near water. I’m a water baby; I have to be near the water and I love doing scuba and going out and being on a boat.’
Selena Gomez opened up to The Mirror to discuss getting into acting at an early age, and her normal way of life for someone associated with Disney.
On deciding to be an actress at age 7: ‘I think a lot of kids that age are like, ‘I want to be an astronaut. I want to do this or that’, but I knew that’s what I really wanted to do. I think you can be a lot more fearless with those decisions when you’re younger.
My mom kept me in school as long as possible, so I got that kind of normality growing up. Actually, a lot of the kids made fun of me because my first job was on a kids’ show they all watched, Barney And Friends, but I still enjoyed acting, I didn’t let that stop me.’
I just like to do normal things and I’m not into the partying scene. My job’s so crazy that in my free time I just like to stay in and watch movies.’ On life: ‘In my world there’s a lot of things available to me. But I think having some sense of authority in my life reminds me I’m just a kid.’
Taylor Swift threw a party for herself this past week in Nashville, TN to celebrate all of her success. Those who attended included execs from her record label “Big Machine” as well as her producer Nathan Chapman.
When Taylor addressed the crowd she said:
“I just hope you know how happy you’ve made me. I never expected I would get to stand up at awards shows as much as I have over the last year.”
“I’m so happy I was allowed to make the album I made. And, I’m proud of the people this happened to along with me. This was not wasted on us. We all appreciate it so much. We’ve had a lot change for us.”

Taylor Momsen is proving her fashion credentials – the Gossip Girl star’s band is set to perform at a Teen Vogue party.
The actress, who plays fashion designer/student Jenny Humphrey on the hit TV series, sings with rock band The Pretty Reckless during her time off from filming the cult show.
The teen star has landed the group’s highest profile gig to date – headlining Tuesday night’s Teen Vogue bash in New York.
A source tells the New York Post’s gossip column PageSix, “She’s been practicing for it all week.”

Friends of singer Rihanna are concerned that the 21-year-old star has adopted a lifestyle of drinking and clubbing, and indulging in “reckless behavior” to cope with her domestic violence scandal with singer Chris Brown.
A NOW tipster tattles: “Rihanna’s really mixed up. Because she feels so distressed and helpless about the situation with Chris, she’s trying to take back some control by getting wasted and behaving recklessly. Partying stops her being left alone with her thoughts and depression.”
Rihanna enjoyed a binge drinking session duringa recent night out at Les Deux Café in West Hollywood
“Every time a waitress passed with shots, Rihanna would help herself to one. She was drinking them like they were water,” an eyewitness tells NOW. “She wants everyone to think that she’s over what happened and is getting on with her life, but inside she’s tormented. She often can’t sleep and when she does, she has nightmares.”

If Rihanna isn’t over what happened to her ( as she shouldn’t), in my opinion she should cooperate with the LAPD to ensure that Chris has steps taken to make sure he will not abuse Rihanna or other females in the future. Binge Drinking as well as violence is never the answer. I hope she can start to deal with the situation instead of hiding behind a bottle. She’s a beautiful, talented young star and deserves much more out of life.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens spent some quality time yesterday doing what they do best, shooting a video for Will Ferrell’s comedy site FunnyorDie.com.
Zac was seen walking around shirtless with a towel at a pool party with Queen Latifah, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden all on set as well.
At one point, expectant mom Nicole and Joel were seen filming around a bush as Zac laid down below them.
