Movie stills from the upcoming Miley Cyrus film, The Last Song have been released. Are you excited for this movie?

The film is based on the Nicholas Sparks novel in which Miley plays a young girl who reluctantly spends the summer at her fathers home where she falls in love for the first time and finds healing after her parents divorce. The Last Song hits theaters April 2010.

The official Facebook for the upcoming Disney remake, ‘Alice In Wonderland‘ has released two new promotional pictures from the film.

Zac Efron’s fans are so obsessed with him they even travelled to an island to see him.

The ‘High School Musical’ actor was shooting new movie ‘Me and Orson Wells’ on the Isle of Man – a small island located in the Irish Sea between Britain and Ireland – and was stunned to discover his legion of female fans had even managed to hunt him down there.

He said: “I was looking forward to that seclusion. From what I heard it was a pretty quiet place and there weren’t a lot of people there. They found it. But I felt pretty welcome.”

Zac – who plays a teenage student who, by luck, gets to work with a young Orson Welles, the acclaimed American writer and director, in the coming-of-age drama – said: “I was looking for that opportunity, something fresh.”

He said: “Perhaps the fans that don’t know about Orson maybe have more of an opinion now when they study this stuff at school… some insight into the early life of this American icon.”

The Twi-Hards turned out in record numbers to catch the first showings of The Twilight Saga: New Moon early Friday money. The second installment of Bella and Edward’s love story outperformed boy wizard Harry Potter, who previously held the record for midnight box office.

According to box office numbers released by Summit Entertainment Friday afternoon, New Moon pulled in a record-breaking estimated gross of $26.27 million playing in just 3,514 theaters across the nation — that’s an average of $7,476 per theater!

The wildly-successful midnight opening “portends an opening weekend that could be one of the biggest of the year,” says Paul Dergarabedian, a box-office analyst for Hollywood.com.

Hilary Duff’s latest film, Greta will hit theaters December 11th.

In the film, Duff plays troubled 17-year-old Greta, who is forced by her mom to spend the summer with her elderly grandparents  in a Jersey Shore town. But Greta has a summer romance — with a busboy — that cheers her up, even if her grandparents don’t approve. Planning to kill herself on her 18th birthday, Greta spends her summer away from home completing her to-do list of situations she wants to accomplish before committing sucicide.

The birthday girl held an 80s-theme celebration at New York’s Canal Room on Wednesday night (11.18). Miley’s themed outfit of choice was Vivian Ward from the movie classic, ‘Pretty Woman.’ 

The singer-and-actress – who celebrates her birthday on Monday (11.23) – was particularly delighted with the evening’s entertainment, a performance from Constantine Maroulis and the cast of Broadway musical ‘Rock of Ages’.

A source told America’s New York Post newspaper: “Miley had seen the show two weeks ago and loved it, so her mom Tish brought the cast in to surprise her. But I’m not sure who was more into Constantine – Miley or her mother.

“Between songs from the musical, Miley grabbed Constantine and danced with him at the front of the stage and then Tish joined in.”

Jordin Sparks is recovering in Los Angeles hospital after emergency surgery to have her appendix removed.

The 19-year-old singer had been scheduled to perform Down Under Australian Idol champ Guy Sebastian this Sunday, but has scrapped the show after being admitted to the hospital with acute appendicitis Wednesday night.

On Thursday, Jordin hit Twitter from the recovery room to assure fans that she’ll be as good as new in “the next week or so.”

“Smiling, resting & takin it easy! Thank you so much for your thoughts & prayers. It means so much & it’s so powerful,” she later added.
