Rumors always surround happy couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, that the pair is engaged, however Zac opened up on how he doesn’t want to get married until he’s 30.
‘No, I’m not gonna get married for awhile. I think I’ve always said I’m not gonna get married ’til I’m 30. I’m gonna wait. I wouldn’t want that kind of commitment or pressure at this point.’
Zac does take his shirt off a few times in his film ‘Charlie St. Cloud’, displaying his chiseled physique which he somewhat attributes to Hudgens: ’She’s into yoga and all the girly ways you can work out. She’s getting me into that stuff, too.’
Vanessa Hudgens who has been dating Zac Efron for the last four years – admits she is grateful they started their careers together.
She said: “We got lucky because we started off together, so I think people like us because they fell in love with our characters. Right off the bat, we had a connection. I think everybody could see it. When we had our audition, they paired us together. And he was adorable. I mean, he wasn’t the guy that he is today. Like, he had a gap in his teeth. He was a whole different person.”
Despite the early chemistry between Vanessa and Zac, the 21-year-old actress-and-singer isn’t ready to take their relationship to the next level and move in with the ’17 Again’ star.
She added to Glamour magazine: “No. I mean, maybe. maybe house-hunting for houses on our own. I mean. which, I’m not. And he’s not, at the moment. So no. No. I just bought my house two years ago, and I adore it.”
Although her film choices have been for younger audiences, Vanessa is ready to move onto something more challenging.
She said: “Before ‘High School Musical’, I wanted to be a nitty-gritty actress. And ‘High School Musical’ came along, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, fun!’ When I am around kids and they come up to me, of course I am going to act a certain way, but at the end of the day, I’m doing this for myself. I’m going to be doing movies kids can’t watch.”

The release of Vanessa Hudgens’ new film Beastly has been postponed to avoid a box office clash with beau Zac Efron.
Hudgens has teamed up with Alex Pettyfer and Mary-Kate Olsen for the modern version of the classic Beauty and the Beast fairytale, which was scheduled to release on July 30. The flick has been delayed after producers discovered that the release date clashed with the summer launch of Efron’s upcoming Charlie St. Cloud, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Fans will now have to wait another eight months to see the film – Beastly’s been pushed back until March 2011.

Vanessa Hudgens is temporarily shacking up with longtime boyfriend Zac Efron after a devastating flood left her Studio City bachelorette pad damaged to the tune of $250,000.
Vanessa and Zac have been quietly sharing a $7,500-a-month beach house in Malibu since February, when Baby V left the water running in her bathtub and returned home to find a damp disaster, spies spill.
“She forgot about it and left the house with the water running in her third-floor master bathroom. When she returned home, the whole place was a soggy mess….Fortunately most of the money was paid by her insurance company.”
The flood buckled floors and ruined walls and several pieces of expensive furniture. Ironically, Zac’s suburban LA home was also the site of a flood when his outdoor pool overflowed in April. What started out as a twin pair of catastrophes has led to the former High School Musical stars moving in together; Zac and Vanessa are sharing the Malibu pad hile their homes are being repaired.
“It’s been a happy twist of fate for Zac and Vanessa. They’re living together and have never been closer.”

He may be just 22, but age hasn’t prevented heartthrob Zac Efron from making a major impact in the world of films.
The star — who rose to fame playing hoops star Troy Bolton in Disney’s hugely-successful High School Musical franchise — will receive the Shining Star Award at the Maui Film Festival in Hawaii later this month.
The star of High School Musical 3: Senior Year and 17 Again will be on-hand to accept the award on June 16, the festival’s opening night. Efron has also appeared in a film version of the musical Hairspray and recently, Me & Orson Welles, which focuses on the making of the Mercury Theater production of Julius Caesar.

It is being rumored that Zac Efron and girlfriend of five years, Vanessa Hudgens are trying out a “trial marriage” – meaning the two of them have moved in with one another for the time being to see how things work out for them being in the same house and being around each other 24/7.
The trial marriage reportedly began when Vanessa forgot to turn the water faucet off in her home when she left two months ago and incurred a large amount of damage.
While her house is being fixed Vanessa is renting a place in Malibu and it is being reported that Zac liked the house so much he wanted to move in with Vanessa until her house repairs were done.

Vanessa Hudgens found it “fun” its role as a prostitute in her new movie. The actress, who plays a prostitute in the action film “Sucker Punch” said she enjoyed the role because it allowed her ripe to explore another facet of her character. She said: “Honestly, it’s a combination of many things … it’s fun and it’s a fantasy that you’ll have to see to understand.”
To prepare for the role, the actress of 21 years of age, admitted that she visited the strip clubs or the corners of the investigation, but it was a physical place, seek the help of the hallmarks of the U.S. Navy. UU., a Special Operations Force Maritime. She told E! Online, “we have made the martial arts. We trained with Navy SEALs. We got to shoot a large quantity of firearms. It was very exciting! ”
Vanessa has already spoken about how training for the role was the most I ever had to do. She said: “I was crying because I pushed very hard. But it is amazing what it is. When you go so far to find a certain Zen about it and you know you can do anything. It is very rewarding. “

Zac Efron prepares to battle girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens…at the box office. Zac’s next movie, The Life & Death Of Charlie St. Cloud, was supposed to come out in October, but it got moved up to the end of July – the same weekend as his gf Vanessa’s release of Beastly!

Zac Efron will play a scheming cocaine smuggler in a new box office thriller!
The actor – who rose to fame in Disney’s popular High School Musical films – is stepping away from the teen roles that made him a star to play a runner for a coke dealer in Warner Bros.’ Snabba Cash — translated Easy Money — an American remake of a Swedish film based on the 2006 novel by Jens Lapidus.
Snabba was a major hit in its home country this year. The film follows three interconnected storylines involving drugs and organized crime, with the main character a young man (played in the original by Joel Kinnaman) who hopes to strike it rich by becoming a runner for a coke dealer.

Vanessa Hudgens will play Mimi, an HIV-positive dancer, in a new production of Rent taking center stage at the world-famous Hollywood Bowl this August.
The production marks the stage directorial debut of good-natured entertainer Neil Patrick Harris, who starred in the Los Angeles production of the Tony Award-winning musical in 1997.
On casting the High School Musical alum, NPH says: “She came in for a work session, and I must say, Vanessa really impressed. She looks amazing, has great vocal chops, and seems really committed to honoring the somewhat iconic role of Mimi. I look forward to audiences seeing a dark, edgy, and very different side of Vanessa Hudgens this August.”
The musical runs in Los Angeles from August 6-8.
