We had Justin Gaston’s main picture, along with Robert Pattinson and a few others, but we’re no longer on the top page for them, but Miley and Jennifer are upgrades in our eyes! Thank you for clicking on our pictures so much that we’re on their front page results. It may not be much in comparison to other sites, but we’re so fortunate to have extremely nice readers who send in sightings and tips and make us more of a pop culture community than a simple gossip blog, we can’t say thank you enough for helping us with that.

Sorry posts have been slow lately, I actually got extremely injured at work and was on bed rest for three days and with medicine I’m just now starting to be able to sit up and walk by myself, therefore posts won’t be up until Saturday. However, we will do sightings on our twitter this weekend, so if you see any celebrities please e-mail us asap at wearesocialbutterflies@yahoo.com and we will post our own sightings as well. It doesn’t seem like it has been that long already, but Hilary Duff’s stalker, Maksim Myaskovskiy will be on the lose again soon. If you don’t recall the case, He threatened to harm Duff at a 2006 event she was to attend and showed up at her mom’s house and her then boyfriend Joel Madden’s house. He stated his intention to buy a weapon and engage in dramatic actions to get her attention. Myaskovskiy was “obsessed” with Hilary, and felt that Madden stood in the way. He was sentenced to 117 days in jail, with 5 years probation. It was a very unfortunate situation, but at least Hilary was able to have a restraining order put in place against her follower. With Joel no longer in the picture but a new boyfriend, Matt in her life ,I wonder how Hilary is going to feel about her stalkers release?
Just so you know:
A Stalker is anyone who prowls or sneaks about; usually with unlawful intentions. If you follow anyone (expecially a celebrity), follow their personal life, outside of what is public information, try contacting their friends and family, all this and more is considered stalking and can get you a restraining order or jail time no matter what age you are.

This weekend we will have posts (expecially look on our Twitter and Myspace!) but they will be slower this weekend as tomarrow night (Friday) we will all be attending a taping of Sonny With A Chance, and go to Bobs or Millions of Milkshakes ( you should meet us if you’re an L.A. local!) and then we’ll either spend the night in Toluca Lake or San Clemente, and then we’re driving to Arizona to hang out with some of our band friends we met at the Chain Reaction show this weekend. We will have video from that as there will be a concert, hotel party, midnight food runs with bands, and we may even pick up a kitten for Nina! Then Sunday we’re heading back to Los Angeles for the Grammy’s to see Miley and Taylor perform their duet. So it will be a long weekend, but Tish and Nina from O.U.A.R. will be with us and therefore we will video record everything and hopefully we’ll be with some of your favorite bands. We’re going to try to have Demi give a shoutout to SocialB which we’re excited but nervous about, yet hopefully she’ll love it like Chelsea Staub did. So it will be a handful and posts will be up randomly this weekend, so you may want to check other sites more frequently for daily gossip, but we will be having a lot of celeb run ins, band videos, and stalkerific videos of us seeing Miley & Taylor (and Jonas) at the Grammys. Sorry about the slowing down, but hopefully you’ll enjoy watching the videos and having the updates as much as we will be creating them.

It has just been digitally added and you can friend us RIGHT HERE. We would add you, but most of you are just anon’s #1-99 to us so let’s change that! Nina is going to be in charge of the myspace and there will be updates almost once an hour on there, so whenever there is a new post on here, you will get the post as a bulliten on Myspace, since we all know we have one. It also has our twitter on there (which has been slow lately, but we’re making sure to ONLY post sightings that we know are 100% accurate). So please friend us, we would like to get to know you better and it’s a great way to stay connected with whats going on!

We need your advice! We have been running SocialButterflies for about four months now, and we are amazed my the success of the site. We have over 125,000 views up to date, and our two youtube channels, shakeyvision & wersocialbutterflies has gathered over 100,000 views as well. We figured, if that many people are looking at our site that we should make it look a little more classy. Our current layout with the blue and grey background will be changed later on today and may change a few times until we find a great look for the site. There’s a couple amazing announcement’s coming up this week and the first one we are pretty excited about. Once a week we post Sightings updates of our time in Los Angeles and the people of interest that we run into. Just Wends night, we ran into Nicole Richie/Joel Madden, Mitchell Musso, Billy Ray Cyrus/Mommy Tish and We The Kings all in one night! Update on that soon with pictures. We love posting when Miley Cyrus is at Millions of Milkshakes, or when the Jonas Brothers are finally making themselves seen around town or at their Bel Air house, and so we want to share that with you, instantly! Most of you may be familiar with the website, Twitter, a messaging service that allows updates to be instantly posted online through sending information through a text, or submitting the news online.
We will be using a Twitter account, SocialBupdates which you can visit here to keep posted on where your favorite celebrities are, or when breaking news occurs and you can’t be by your t.v./computer to see it live (like last week’s Niley hug!). There is an option, for our updates to be sent directly to your phone for free (outside of your standard texting rates) so instead of reading when Demi Lovato is on a double date the day after when we post it on SB, you can instantly have the person/location/ and time sent to your phone.
Many of our readers are Los Angeles area based, so if you are one of those you can know when Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston have a date at Paty’s, so if you’re in the area you may be able to run into your favorite celebrities while they’re present. It is very simple to use, just create an account and then click to follow SocialBupdates for all of the instant news as we see it. I can’t even express how happy I would have been, if I knew last Wends when Miley was bike riding just a few blocks from where I was, and so hopefully you can be excited to know when certain celebrities are leaving a theatre/concert location/diner/ and so forth as well.

Today there will be a slow down of posts, but slow today will be filled tomarrow. It’s actually my (Melissa’s) 20th Birthday today, so all of us that help write for SocialB are getting together for Disneyland in the afternoon, and then heading up to L.A. for a Metro Station concert this evening. I’m personally very excited because friends, Disney, and Mason Musso are quite possibly three of my favorite things, complete with Millions of Milkshakes after. So sorry that posts will be slow, but we will be very busy racing from Splash Mountain to parking lots on the Sunset Strip. We will have the complete concert taped for anyone who is interested, and will have that posted tomarrow, complete with pictures and catching up on the daily news.
