Changing their sound, including lead singer’s voice channeling a deeper raspy sound, The Maine aims to expand their target audience and radio airplay now that they have signed with Warner Brothers records along with fellow band This Century.

The Maine have spent the past two years promoting their debut album on endless tours, but after experiencing life on the road and growing as artists, the band is back with their sophomore album, which will be released July 13th.
Their first single from the currently untitled forthcoming album is titled, “Inside of You.” With a more adult sound, The Maine has certainly grown in musical influences, branching out more from just pop, incorporating deeper emotional lyrics and different instrumental placing. The Maine who are all currently in California, have been recording their sophomore album in Los Angeles recently. The band put together an update video of their first few experiences in the studio which you can watch below. Are you excited for their new music?

Held at Angeles Stadium in Anaheim, California the event will take place March 27th & March 28th with tickets going on sale starting January 12th.

The Maine is a band that can appreciate Christmas. The band has multiple seasonal songs including “Santa Stole My Girlfriend”, “Santa You…” but our favorite is a track of theirs that they came up with tfew years back titled, “Ho Ho Hopefully.”
The holiday jingle has a music video as well which features Justin Richards from Brighten/ A Rocket To The Moon, and a guest appearance by some sexy red pants.

The Maine will be heading to Los Angeles in January to record their second full length album which is being aimed for a summer release. The band which recently left Fearless Records for Warner Brothers gained fame from their debut album which featured the songs, “Into Your Arms” and “Girls Do What They Want.”
The Maine graces the cover of the Dec/Jan issue of Cliche Magazine. Within the pages, Pat (drummer) talks about their upcoming book on their journals and experience via Warped Tour 2009 and features pictures by Dirk Mai. Read the interview here.
