Robert Pattinson escaped injury on the set of his new film recently, after he was bitten by a lion! The actor was filming his new movie called Water For Elephants, in which he plays a circus worker. His scenes require him to work with a few different animals, including of course, lions.
According to reports, the lion clamped its jaws around his arm during filming, but luckily it has no teeth so our Rob wasn’t hurt. Robert admitted: “Almost every day I’m working with an exotic animal… It’s insane, like I got bitten on the arm by a lion with no teeth. They were like, ‘It’s fine, he does it all the time.’ And I was like, ‘erm.. ok…!’ But they had to get him to do it harder, because he was being so gentle and just licking my arm.”

Robert Pattinson can’t cook.
The ‘Twilight Saga’ actor admits he often craves home-cooked food but because his culinary abilities are so limited, he has to rely on room service in hotels.
He said: “In London recently, my hotel had really good room service and I just ate the same thing every day – chicken tikka! I crave a home-cooked meal sometimes, but I only know how to make a piece of toast.”
The British star also admitted spending so much time staying in hotels has made him lazy. He explained: “Hotels have made me more lazy, you can throw the towel on the floor and someone picks it up, and there’s a mini bar.”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s ‘Twilight Saga’ producer prays for them to stay together.
Wyck Godfrey insists the personal life of the couple – who have been rumored to be dating since starring in the first movie in the franchise – doesn’t affect the movie series, though he occasionally worries about what would happen if they ended their relationship.
He told Time magazine: “I honestly don’t think of it in terms of business. It doesn’t affect our core business at all.
“The thing I do think about is, ‘Oh my God, I hope they stay together’. Because it could be awkward on set in the next movie if they have a huge falling out.
“It’s like, ‘Wow, they have to portray this love story through two more movies. God, I hope they stay together, please stay together’. That’s what affects my day-to-day.”
Wyck also admitted he feels attention on the couple – who have always refused to confirm their relationship – is starting to fade because they have such a “stable” romance.
He added: “Do people still report on it? If you look at people who have a stable personal life, people get tired of them.
“I think we’re heading to that place where they are together and that’s their life and we better find someone new to create drama out of.”
Robert Pattinson has a lot of other ambitions away from acting and he is intrigued by the idea of being the head of his own faith.
He told the German edition of Glamour magazine: “I definitely want to record an album, direct a film and start my own religion.”
Robert can think of one major benefit to having his own believers – the lucrative tax breaks given to religions. Speaking about the advantages of organized faith, he added: “Well, I definitely wouldn’t have to pay taxes anymore.” It seems Robert has recently been musing about religion.
The 24-year-old actor addressed claims author Stephanie Meyer hides Mormon teachings and philosophy in her vampire books, especially final tome ‘Breaking Dawn’ in which character Bella Swan decides to keep a baby even though it threatens her life. He said: “I think people make up all these Mormon references just so they can publish ‘Twilight’ articles in respectable publications. Even Stephanie said it doesn’t mean any of that. It is based on a dream.”

Robert Pattinson feels guilty ‘Twilight’ fans camped out for days to see him at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’.
The 24-year-old actor – who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the movie series – didn’t know how to react when he heard people had been sleeping outside as early as last Saturday (19.06.10) to catch a glimpse of him last night (24.06.10).
Speaking at the premiere, which was held at the Nokia Theatre, Robert said: “They’ve been camping out. Some of them have been camping out since Saturday, apparently.
“I spiral into this oblivion of guilt whenever they say that because I don’t know what to do. All I can do is sign.”
The British star admitted he wouldn’t be out late to enjoy the fun of the premiere as he had to work today (25.06.10).
He revealed: “I have to work tomorrow (Friday). I have got a 5am start on a film – ‘Water For Elephants’.”
Discussing the impending end of the movie franchise – only the two-part ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ is left in the series – Robert said: “I like all the people that I work with and I guess I’m going to miss all the crowds as well.”

It’s hard out here for a Taylor Lautner lover. Actress Emma Roberts has reportedly deleted her Twitter handle after being cyber-bullied by Twilight fans on the social networking site.
With some prodding from Jay Leno, Emma had a bit of a tiff with series bloodsucker Robert Pattinson on The Tonight Show Tuesday night. The reason? Roberts admitted she’s Team Jacob.
Roberts co-starred with Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob in The Twilight Saga, in the ensemble comedy Valentine’s Day. Take that, Cullen! Don’t worry Team Edward fans, Pattinson put her in her place. However, the joke between Emma and Rob didn’t go over so well with Twi-Hards on Twitter.
According to E! News, poor Emma was slammed with so many hate-Tweets she’s decided to leave the microblogging giant. As of Wednesday afternoon, @RobertsEmma has graced the blogosphere with its final Tweet.

The ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ actor admits he is astonished at how quickly his supporters find out his plans and post the information on the internet, but admits he can use it to his advantage.
He said: “It’s kind of incredible the information they get so quickly. Sometimes I’ll check them to see what my schedule is on stuff, especially on the weekend when I can’t get through to my agency, or even to see my emails sometimes.
“It’s strange being in ‘Twilight’ because so much of the fan base is being on the internet and having a community with each other.”
Although the 24-year-old star feels there is a particular devotion to the ‘Twilight Saga’, he is aware that his appearance in the movies generates interest in his other work – even if it is just to boast to fellow fans of the vampire franchise.
He explained: “You see people turn up on sets of other movies I’ve done and take a picture. You know the main reason is so they can have a thing within their online community and you know it’s going to be up within five seconds. It’s strange.”

Robert Pattinson wants a better six-pack than Taylor Lautner.
The ‘Twilight’ sex symbol admits he is jealous of his hunky co-star’s muscular torso but says while the pair can be competitive they are still good friends.
Robert joked of their rivalry: “I want to have better hair than him. I want to have a better six-pack.
“But seriously, he’s great. I’ve been close with him throughout the whole series.”
The 24-year-old actor – who is rumored to be romancing his ‘Twilight’ co-star Kristen Stewart – also confessed the huge success of the vampire franchise means he finds it difficult to date.
The star – who plays Edward Cullen in the series – told ‘The Today Show’: “I would like to go on a date. I’m just saying. I’m just putting that out there. Because I never go on dates anymore.”
However, while he is keen to date, Robert insists he’s in no hurry to get married.
He said: “I don’t think settling down should be the same thing as getting married. I mean, I guess settling down just means not sleeping with everybody. I don’t like the idea of having to settle, though.”
There’s one in every family: Robert Pattinson’s busy body aunt is lighting into the hunk, who she accuses of turning his back on relatives since his meteoric rise to fame in the hit Twilight movies.
Diane Nutley insists superstardom has gone to Pattz’s head.

Robert Pattinson is in discussions to play rock legend Kurt Cobain in All Apologies, a Universal Studios biopic helmed by lensman David Fincher, London’s The Sunreported Friday.

The Twilight heartthrob — who sometimes masquerades as a musician — has replaced Ryan Gosling as the frontrunner to portray the Nirvana lead singer and grunge pioneer, who died of a self-inflicted shotgun blast in 1994.
Speculation about a movie retelling of the star’s turbulent life has long been rumored, but recent reports suggest Finch or The Messenger director Oren Moverman could be in talks to helm the film, based on Charles R. Cross’ 2001 book Heavier Than Heaven: A Biography of Kurt Cobain.
Pattinson, 23, has been in regular contact with Cobain’s widow Courtney Love, who allegedly handpicked Robert to play Cobain and Scarlett Johansson, 25, to portray her.
“This is a big money deal for Courtney,” says a source. “She has agreed to the film on condition that she gets to decide the main aspects of the project including director, casting, screenplay and music. Robert has been calling and emailing her non-stop. She has been a bit wound up by his manners, but he is her number one choice to play Kurt…..”
