It has been quite a year for Taylor Swift, and on her 20th birthday yesterday (December 13) she threw a huge party for her family and friends.
The “Love Story” songstress told press, “It’s more like an end-of-year Christmas party that happens to be on my birthday.”
And rather than shower herself with extravagant gifts, Miss Swift decided to give $250,000 to schools around America to help with various costs during these tough financial times.
Taylor stated, “Something I wanted to do at the end of this amazing year and especially on my birthday was give back to something I really believe in, which is education. The schools that I went to and the amazing people I got to learn from really turned me into who I am, and I wanted to give back.”

Forever 21, Inc. is launching a charitable line of T-shirts personally designed by celebrities with 100% of the proceeds, or 2/3 of the purchase price of the tops to benefit Starlight Children’s Foundation, helping seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities.
Designers Demi Lovato, Corbin Bleu, Paris, Nicky & Kathy Hilton, Colbie Caillat & Audrina Patridge were given art materials, which included paints, markers, and sketch pads, to create a unique painting on canvas using the themes of ‘star’ and ‘light’ which were incorporated onto a cotton shirt.
The special line will be available for purchase in select Forever 21 stores and online at Forever21.com. The T-shirts will retail for $12.80. Additionally, each celebrity’s original artwork will be up for auction at Starlight’s eBay store (www.ebay.com/starlight), starting Dec. 21.
