Lady Gaga stopped by the Los Angeles radio station, 102.7 Kiis Fm, to talk to Jojo on the Radio about working with the legendary Britney Spears. Gaga had nothing but the upmost positive remarks to say about her fellow singer, including how Spears doesn’t need any advice from her. Listen below!
She’s topped the pop charts, debuted her own line of headphones, and even stamped her seal of approval on a collection of products by Polaroid. Now we hear that a signature scent may be the next career move on course for music sensation Lady Gaga.
Gaga will add her own fragrance to the stampede of celebs fumes scenting up the perfume counter, tattles with their noses to the ground spill in the new issue of Britain’s Marketing Magazine. According to the scoop, the official — albeit “unusual” — Lady Gaga Perfume will arrive at retailers just in time for the 2010 holiday season.
“The pop star has already rolled out her own fashion line, named Haus of Gaga. The perfume will be produced and marketed by Coty, which also makes Kate by Kate Moss,”says a spy.
The ‘Alejandro’ singer separated from barman Luc Carl a number of years ago but she has decided to give their relationship another chance.
A source told People magazine: “Gaga’s first album is entirely about their relationship and her song, ‘You and I’, is about how they got back together. They’ve been in love for a while.”
Gaga and Luc were spotted at a New York Mets baseball game together last month, their first public date since getting back together. In the lyrics to ‘You and I’, the 24-year-old pop star sings: “It’s been a long time but I’m back in town/But this time I’m not leaving without you. You taste like whiskey when you kiss me oooh, I’ll give up anything again to be your baby doll, Yeah this time I’m not leaving without you.”
Gaga is believed to have separated from her last boyfriend, stylist and friend Matthew Williams, in June.
Lady Gaga has revealed she got to where she is today without a single handout from the bank of mum and dad.
Instead the eccentric pop star said she juggled part-time jobs to fund her fledgling career in the music business. She told the Daily Mail that despite finding it hard to make ends meet, she still wanted to do it for herself.
‘When I decided I wanted to be a performer I knew it was a path I would have to carve out on my own,’ she said.
‘It wasn’t what my parents wanted, but they supported me in my wishes. I took no money from them. I moved out of home into a tiny apartment in New York. I took jobs waitress, working in burlesque clubs, waiting in bars … It was tough and it was exciting and it was non-stop, and it was all my own journey.’
But the Bad Romance singer said it was the struggle that gave her the strong work ethic that she has today. She added: “It gave me a feeling that there was something honorable about doing it all myself with no handouts.
‘If you want something really badly you have to be prepared to put yourself through anything, work your backside off and never stop.’
Lady Gaga who is currently single – admits she has been forced to put her love life aside to be a successful pop star and is too “weak” to make romances work.
She said: “My greatest sacrifice is love. I’ve only ever been in love once, and I had to walk away because I had to put my career first. He wanted me to stay at home and be with him; I wanted to be out there trying to make it on stage. It was a huge lesson for me, but it’s also a source of sadness. God gave me a gift with music, but if you have gifts you also have weaknesses. My weakness is not being able to make relationships work.”
The 24-year-old star has been on numerous dates over the years, but has decided to choose music instead because it won’t ever break her heart.
She added to Live magazine: “There’s something in me that stops me ever putting a relationship before my work. I guess I always think my music is never going to roll over in bed one morning and tell me that it doesn’t love me any more. I have to believe the music is worth the sacrifice.”

SHOWstudio.com released new pictures today of model “Jo Calderone” on set of a shoot for Vogue Hommes Japan. Two new photos will be posted on the SHOWstudio website every day this week. It’s interesting that they called the model, Jo Calderone as Jo is Lady Gaga’s alterego.
Channeling into her alterego, Vogue took a risk labeling her as such, as her stage name, Lady Gaga is much more well known. After being called “a gay man trapped in a woman’s body” by Rolling Stone Magazine this week, it is easy to see how they came to such a conclusion. Rumors have surfaced before that Lady Gaga used to be a man back in high school, a time she does not talk about in interviews other than saying it was a difficult time for her.
Lady Gaga plans to use dead bodies in her concerts.
The ‘Alejandro’ singer plans to team up with scientist Gunther Von Hagens – who is famous for his ‘Body Worlds’ exhibitions, which depicts preserved human corpses in various poses – to come up with a striking new vision for her ‘Monster Ball Tour’.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “She is fascinated by Gunther’s work and life and he has the kind of past she is drawn to.
“Gaga sees a kindred spirit and is hoping to meet him in New York.”
“They’ve spoken over email and it’s gone well. She is keen to have some ‘Body Worlds’ element in one of her shows, with Las Vegas being the obvious fit. It would be good to top this tour – which is already out there – with something nobody has done before, using dead bodies as part of a concert.”
Lady Gaga is still welcome at Yankee Stadium, but just not in the clubhouse. Especially not after a loss.
“She’s not banned,” New York Yankees GM Brian Cashman said on Sunday afternoon. “Celebrities aren’t banned. If Michael Jordan showed up here he would have access [to the clubhouse], but not after a loss.”
Following the Yankees’ loss to the New York Mets on Friday night, Lady Gaga talked her way past security and into the Yankees’ clubhouse. She reportedly met with some players, including Robinson Cano. The media, which is supposed to be allowed into the clubhouse 10 minutes after the final pitch, was held out.
“That was the wrong time and the wrong place,” Cashman said. “It’s been taken care of.”
The New York Post reported on Sunday that Yankees co-chairman Hal Steinbrenner was furious at the display Lady Gaga put on in the clubhouse — dressed in a half-buttoned Yankees jersey and a bikini bottom, she swilled whiskey and fondled her chest, the Post said.
“There is just a time and place,” said Cashman. “It is not her fault.”
Yankees manager Joe Girardi says he doesn’t think celebrities cause a distraction for his team.
“Our guys know that when it’s time to play, it’s time to play, and they’re used to it,” Girardi said.
Gaga has been making her presence felt in New York baseball. The singer, who says she is a Yankees fan, attended a Mets-Padres game on June 10 at Citi Field and decided to give the finger to Mets fans. This provided not only a treat for photographers but also a marketing opportunity for the Mets; they’ve designated this coming Wednesday’s game vs. the Tigers as “Go Gaga for Wright” night, to campaign for third baseman David Wright’s election to the National League All-Star team. The first 20,000 fans through the gates will receive a blue foam hand with the index finger extended — “the best finger,” according to a TV commercial for the promotion — and the words “Make Wright #1″ printed on it.

We think it’s safe to assume Madonna won’t be featured on Lady Gaga’s next album. The Material Girl is no “Little Monster” and reportedly regards the younger superstar as a copycat, industry informants snitch. According to Madge’s pals, the “Borderline” singer — a music legend — is disturbed by the “annoying” singing rival she accuses of ripping off her avant garde style and shooting straight to the top of the charts.Madonna’s copycat claims have been further fuelled by Gaga’s controversial — or “blasphemous,” if Katy Perry is to be believed — video, “Alejandro.” The clip shows Gaga dressed in a latex nuns’ outfit, suggestively swallowing a set of rosary beads, and appears to include references to Madonna’s early ’90s videos for “Like A Prayer” and “Vogue.”
”It just bugs Madonna that Lady Gaga uses fashion and her performance style in a way that has so many people calling her ‘The New Madonna,’” Tablioid spies spill. “Madonna thinks she is unique and there cannot be a younger version of something that is unique.”
Even bosses at America’s Catholic League can see the similarities between Madge and Gaga — and have taken to ripping the “LoveGame” hitmaker with the same furor it used against Madonna two decades ago.
“Lady Gaga is playing Madonna copy cat, squirming around half-naked with half-naked guys, abusing Catholic symbols – they’re always Catholic symbols – while bleating out Alejandro enough times to induce vomit… She has now become the new poster girl for American decadence and Catholic bashing, sans (without) the looks and talent of her role model.”

Lady Gaga is currently at Citi Field, sitting in a luxury suite, and giving the middle finger to the crowd. She showed up—with “very little makeup and a skimpy outfit”—during the fifth inning, according to our source, SB reader, Jennifer M.
After her fashionably-late arrival, the singer became visibly upset when all of the photographers—there to shoot the game—turned from the field and focused on her. She and her entourage left their seats behind the dugout, and popped up in the window of a luxury suite, where they were all seen giving the finger.
