The music video was based loosely on the movie, “When In Rome”, but all you need to now is it’s three hot musicians with average Joe’s trying to make out with them. I wish I was in this music video.
The beautiful and talented Miss Katy Perry turns 25 years old today. We’re positive the superstar will have an amazing day given the zoo that boyfriend, Russell Brand bought her for her special day, but regardless we wish Katy a wonderful and memorable Happy Birthday!

Katy Perry wants new boyfriend Russell Brand to meet her parents.
The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer is worried her evangelical Christian parents don’t approve of her fledgling romance with the British comedian – who is famed for his womanizing ways and has battled drug addiction – but thinks meeting him could change their mind.
A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Katy is as besotted with Russell as he is with her.
“Katy is sure that, after they get used to him, they would approve of Russell, but she wants to get that initial meeting out of the way as early as she can.
“Keith and Mary are devoted to the church and hold the institution of marriage as a central core of their beliefs.
“They are genuinely happy for their daughter, but want to give Russell the once-over to check that he is suitable.”
Katy hopes her 34-year-old beau will fly to Los Angeles to spend time with her family ahead of her stint hosting the MTV Europe Awards (EMAs) next month.
The 24-year-old singer – whose parents Keith and Mary Hudson are pastors and run a ministry near Los Angeles – wants to arrange the meeting as soon as possible so she can continue working on her new album without worrying.
The source added: “Katy is really keen to get the meeting out of the way early-on, so her and Russell can get on with their relationship without anything hanging over their heads.”
Katy and Russell were first romantically linked after the MTV Video Music Awards when they were seen kissing at Lady Gaga’s after-party at New York nightspot Avenue.
The have since enjoyed a romantic holiday in Thailand together, and been spotted watching shows at Paris Fashion Week.
Last week, Russell admitted he was in love, while Katy has been equally as glowing about their romance.

The pair were first romantically linked after last month’s MTV Video Music Awards, when they were seen kissing at Lady Gaga’s after-party at New York City nightspot Avenue. Now snitching celebrity tattles claim the “Hot N’ Cold” singer was whisked away on a romantic getaway to Thailand after impressing Russ with a picture.
“When they were both in New York for the music awards Russell finally got his chance to work his charm on her,” a source close to Katy told London’s The Sun on Thursday. “Katy knows his bad boy reputation but could not resist – especially when Russell sent her a love poem with a note attached saying, ‘Please send me a poem back,” says the insider.
“Russell couldn’t stop laughing when Katy sent a photo of her chest with the word ‘poem’ scrawled across them. The next minute Russell picked up the phone and invited her to Thailand for a secret getaway.”
Friends have warned Katy, 24, about the 34-year-old comic’s womanizng ways, but after two bitter splits from ex Travis McCoy, of Gym Class Heroes fame, the star is determined to make this relationship work.
“Despite his reputation, Katy thinks Russell is so charming she just wants to give things a go with him. She thinks he is hilarious and incredibly sexy.”

Katy Perry has kept busy since her first major hit “I Kissed A Girl” hit mainstream airwaves last year. After the success of her album One of the Boys, her fans are itching to get their hands on new music from the raven-hair pop star.
Well, good news for those fans: according to MTV Perry is ready to get back to work. She’s even feeling inspired by some of her newest collaborators for her next project, likening her new vibe to that of fellow VMA-nominated band 3OH!3.”I know that after being on the road for about a year and half, what I’m missing is a little bit of that ‘Starstrukk’ flavor,” she told MTV News on the video set for “Starstrukk,” her new song with 3OH!3.
Her new music will eventually have “that beat, that movement a little bit,” Perry teased. “I want to make songs that people want to hold hands and roller-skate to.”
When we previously spoke to Perry about her Boys follow-up, she made it clear that she’s going in a new direction. “I definitely want to make a follow-up pop, fun record. I’m not looking to alienate my fans, but I can’t be that grown-up Shirley Temple girl wearing the stupid strawberry in her hair all the time … because I’d kill myself or someone else would for me,” Perry laughed. “So I’m really excited to always be evolving, and changing; with my look, with my music, it keeps me entertained as well.”
