Social Butterflies was fortunate enough to spend an evening with the wonderful and talented, Steve Rushton during his performance dates at Disneyland this Summer. Currently playing on Radio Disney, Steve’s music is featured on multiple soundtracks and t.v. shows with his latest single, ‘Ready To Rock’ the theme to the upcoming family blockbuster, G Force.
If you live in Southern California you can watch Steve perform live at the Tomarrowland Stage inside Disneyland this Summer along with the Disney Cruise he will be singing at sea for. For those of you not in California, you can vote to have Steve to perform in your town during the G Force premiere week as he will be traveling around the US and surprising theater attendees during show times. The beautiful and talented Cassie Steele is a singer songwriter actress who brings a new fresh sound to the powerpop rock community. Mostly recognized from her work as an actress playing the character of ‘Manny’ on Degrassi, Cassie has always been passionate about music equally, begining vocal lessons at age five and recording her first song that she wrote herself back in 1999. Steele has a captivating unique voice as a singer which combined with her passionate lyrics creates a sound that is simply pleasant to listen to and with an upcoming album, ‘Destructo Doll’ music fans can get their fix beginning July 21st when the C.D. is released.
Already creating a buzz, Cassie appears as one of the top 100 unsigned artists on Myspace Music as well as recording the title track to the upcoming four episode special, Degrassi Goes To Hollywood. Quick to become the have-you-heard artist of 2009, Cassie will be staying busy acting, singing, and possibly touring in the near future.

The Downtown Fiction is a band made up of three friends with a passion for music. Based out of Fairfax, Virginia the boys have quickly made a name for themselves landing the honor of #1 Pop/Punk unsigned on Myspace Music without even being a band for a complete year. It’s no wonder why success is following them however, with close to 70,000 fans on their music page, TDF brings a new level of enjoyment to music that is rare to find, mixing honesty in lyrics, with their own unique sound brought together through their wide musical influences, the final product is nothing short of brilliant. Their latest self-titled EP, has drawn in a faithful audience and with a second EP being released in the near future, along with more performances coming up soon, the road for The Downtown Fiction has no where to go but up.
