Hayden Panettiere has opened up about her relationship with boxer boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko for the first time, branding their union “an exciting experience.”
The “Heroes” actress, 20, has been dating the 33-year-old Russian since December, but she has kept quiet about their romance.
She was rumored to have dumped the sporting star for her ex-boyfriend, Hard Rock Cafe heir Harry Morton, after they were spotted together in Los Angeles last month.
Panettiere dismissed the speculation, insisting she is “just friends” with Morton. Now the petite actress has opened up about her relationship with Klitschko while supporting him at a fight in Germany over the weekend.
She says, “I’ve never had an athlete as a boyfriend before, and it’s an exciting experience. I think it’s awesome that he’s so athletic, but I’m most fascinated with his intelligence. He’s unbelievably clever… .
“Even though I’m small, I can dish it out too. But I have to admit, I feel really protected with such a strong man by my side. Now, whenever someone’s bugging me, I say: ‘Look out, my boyfriend is a boxer!’”

“Heroes” star Hayden Panettiere and her boyfriend, world champion boxer Wladimir Klitschko, received a chilly reception Friday in the Japanese fishing village of Taiji, where they called for an end to its annual dolphin hunt.
Panettiere said she would “love to be a spokesperson” for the town if it abandons the hunt. Her visit to Taiji comes just weeks after “The Cove,” a gory depiction of Taiji’s dolphin slaughter, won the Oscar for best documentary.
The celebrity couple arrived in the morning with a small group of environmental activists. Panettiere tried to meet the mayor and representatives from the local fisheries union, but she and Jeff Pantukhoff, an anti-whaling activist from the U.S., were blocked at the door of the town hall.
Heroes star Hayden Panettiere is the latest celebrity to speak out against Seaworld after its recent tragedy.
The 20-year-old actress, who is a campaigner for dolphins and whales, recently spoke about the death of a trainer at Seaworld, who was killed by Orca Tilikum.
Panettiere said to The Dish Rag: ‘Honestly, it’s horrible what happened. Three deaths by the same whale, by an animal that should not be in captivity in the first place.
’How do you put an interactive, social animal, one of the smartest animals in the world… and you’re going to stick them in a tub and make them do tricks? Because they make money? It’s disgusting and Seaworld is absolutely wrong. This is a big wake-up call.
’How many more people are going to have to be killed? When are we going to realise that these animals are not supposed to be there?’

Hayden Panettiere found kissing a girl “exciting”.
The 20-year-old actress had no problem locking lips with Madeline Zima, who plays Hayden’s character Claire Bennet’s roommate Gretchen Berg on TV show ‘Heroes’, as she thinks it’s something lots of girls do.
Hayden said: “It’s very exciting! When you are young, you experiment and you have fun. It truly is a person that she just falls in love with, because she fulfills her and she is her best friend.”
Hayden was so keen to shoot the sexy scene, which aired in America last night (10.12), she suggested it to script writers.
She explained: “I kind of threw it out there. The writers put you in relationships and I was like, ‘Can I just be with a girl or something? Let’s do that.’ So they took it and ran with it.”
Hayden has previously spoken about her own lesbian experiences, admitting she “experimented” with her female pals when she was younger.
She said: “It’s great to be single. It’s great to have boyfriends. Or girlfriends. There are occasions when you kiss your best friend growing up, having fun and goofing about. Like perfecting your technique.”

Hayden Panettiere has admitted that it was her idea to have a lesbian storyline in the nextseason of Heroes.
The foxy actress is set to get pulses raising – when her character Claire Bennet hooks up with her college roommate Madeleine Zima in the upcoming series.
And according to Panettiere, the idea to get it on with a girl was completely her own. “I kinda threw it out there…” Hayden tells the Daily Star.
“They [the writing team] put you in relationships and I was like, ‘Can I just be with a girl or something…? Let’s do that.’”
“So they took it and ran with it. She’s a great girl… and we have a blast.”
Newly single, Hayden Panettiere poses sexily in revealing glamorous outfits for a book titled “Room 23” which features other celebs in these overly sexual scenarios. Who else from young Hollywood would you want to see in the book?

Hayden Panettiere has been meeting execs to pitch ideas for her own show. While most are calling for her character to be yanked off her current money maker, she will be sticking around according to on set spies.
Recently she had a meeting at Tower Bar inside L.A.’s Sunset Tower Hotel. This followed a couple of other meetings with top tv executives in the hopes of finding someone to pick up her show idea. According to sources, she is just looking to produce the show. Her goal is to achieve Heidi Klum-like status with a fashion related show circa “Project Runway.”
Great gobs of Gucci! May style and good sense win out over the delusions that Hayden could possibly rank herself with Heidi-Fiercest of the Fierce Bitches -Klum. Perhaps she is better suited for “Little People, Big World.”

Hayden Panettiere released a statement to OK! Magazine about rumors of acting out on the Heroe’s set and being unkind to interviewers recently. The actress spilled:
“I have tremendous respect for the media and reporters – particularly the press who treat the people they are interviewing with dignity. I am appreciative that the press has supported me, my career, and especially the causes I feel passionately about. While in Hawaii, one reporter grabbed me suddenly from behind and frightened me. It happens. Typically, the press has treated me with great respect.”
Speaking of respect, Hayden had only positive things to say of ex-boyfriend Milo:
[He and I] are very close. We have enjoyed and continue to enjoy working together.
