Emma Watson has appeared to confirm that she is dating musician George Craig.
The Harry Potter actress and One Night Only member Craig have been photographed together at the Glastonbury Festival over the weekend, and spoke about their relationship during a joint interview on BBC Radio 1.
When asked by host Jo Whiley if they had been “together for ages” or if it “was quite new”, Watson replied: “We’ve been friends for a while. We’ve been friends since the Burberry shoot.
“When I was in the States, George was taking me through a lot of his music as he was recording it. I’m a big fan. I thought everything he did was amazing.”
Watson went on to discuss her role in One Night Only’s music video for ‘Say You Don’t Want It’, revealing that the concept was “very much our idea”.
“It’s kind of an ode to Lady And The Tramp. George is Tramp and I’m Lady,” she explained. “George finds me [because] I’m looking a bit lost and in a dodgy part of New York. He takes me around and very slowly wins me over.”

Unlike her prim alter ego, Emma Watson knows how to throw a party.
The actress, 20, who plays straight-laced Hermione Granger in the blockbuster Harry Potter franchise, hosted a dinner at her home in England recently as filming on the series drew to a close.
“The last week of filming Emma had a dinner at her place, and we spoke about the best moments of filming, our secret crushes on set – all kinds of random questions,” says James Phelps, who plays mischievous Fred Weasley in the movies.
“But all the answers to these questions will stay in that room!” Phelps and his twin brother Oliver, along with Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Michael Gambon and Tom Felton were in Orlando Wednesday night for the grand opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. Also on hand: Potter author J.K. Rowling, who attended the event with her husband Neil Murray but didn’t speak to the press.
“If I ever get a bit homesick, I have somewhere to come now,” Felton, who plays Harry’s foe Draco Malfoy, says of the park, which recreates everything from Hogwarts castle to The Three Broomsticks pub in painstaking detail. “It’s incredible.”
Nostalgia will certainly set in as the first part of the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, hits theaters in November.
Emma Watson is featured in the latest issue of Vanity Fair, in which the actress dishes on her new school life.
On being a freshman at Brown: ‘It was just awful. I was like, I must be mad. Why am I doing this?” And what was with all the party-hearty stuff? I felt like I’d walked into an American teen movie. I picked up the red cups. I was like, Wow, they really do drink from these.’
But, then she started meeting people: a roommate who had no interest in Harry Potter, really friendly rower guys and Rafael Cebrián, who’s a rock musician and actor in his native Spain and has reportedly become her boyfriend.
For classes, she settled on European women’s history, Ovid’s Metamorphoses and acting. ‘I think actually I’m the worst person in the class. I was scared before I came to Brown, that I wasn’t going to be allowed to have both [a career and a normal life]. People would think that I didn’t deserve to have both. [I was afraid they'd think], You’re famous. You’re given free handbags. Why should you deserve to be normal?’
Emma Watson aka Hermione Granger or Harry Potter’s wise friend, is celebrating her 20th birthday today!
Not one to slow down for special days, the birthday girl is currently being a full time student, working on the latest Harry Potter, hosting her own fashion line, and taking part in her school’s theater arts program.
We can only with the 20-year-old an enjoyable day with loved ones; and perhaps a trip to the new Harry Potter Park at Universal Studios! Just saying…
Emma Watson is finishing out her freshman year at Brown University, but while she’s been involved in plenty of student activities, she still misses her home.
Recently, the 19-year-old Harry Potter star attended a New York City party for up-and-coming English designers and spoke with WWD about what she’s most homesick for.
When Emma was asked what she misses most about England and London, she replied: “Marks & Spencer, the supermarket.”
It may seem weird to miss a supermarket chain, but Emma is really missing what you can get there. “The food, the food!” she elaborates. “Marks & Spencer’s food. I miss English chocolate. And I miss silly things like the adverts on TV.”
Emma will be able to get all the chocolate and English delights she wants once she completes her finals in mid-May. Although, with her Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 filming schedule and the promotion of her People Tree clothing line, she just may have to pack her treats to go.
19-year-old Emma Watson stars in one of the biggest film franchises of all time, but was still terrified when she took to the stage in Brown University’s production of Anton Chekov’s Three Sisters last weekend. It seems Emma’s anxiety was unfounded as her classmates say she put in a “faultless” performance, and she received a standing ovation from the audience.
“Emma was nervous beforehand but was faultless in her role,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “She has been juggling coursework with rehearsals and learning lines so she’s had a lot on her plate.”
The play was put on by the college’s non-profit student theatre group. Tickets were free, but only staff and students were invited to protect Emma from being mobbed by fans. The theatre was full to capacity all three nights of the play, and Emma was thrilled to be so well received.
Emma was over the moon that every show was a full house,” the source added. “She also made some new friends while doing it
Harry Potter star Emma Watson has ended her two-year relationship with financier Jay Barrymore.
And, say pals, the 19-year-old has been spending time with Spanish musician and fellow student Rafael Cebrian since the split.
The pair became close friends last November while Emma was still in a relationship with Jay, and since the split she has been heavily leaning on Rafael.
‘Emma and Jay, 28, were in trouble for months and with Emma at Brown University in America, the transatlantic gap proved too much for their relationship to survive,’ says a friend.
‘Emma has been spending a lot of time with Rafael and they are virtually inseparable.’
Rafael has even managed to persuade Emma to take part in the forthcoming Brown student production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters, as part of a 13-strong cast.
‘Rafael belongs to the Production Workshop, a student-run theatre group at Brown,’ says my source.
‘He’s been acting with them since he moved to the US, and he has got Emma involved.
‘This is a new experience for Emma and she’s a little nervous about her performance, but the play has already sold out. She’s hoping it will be a critical success.’
Fortunately Emma, who commands £10million a movie, is waiving her usual fee.
This weekend, Emma Watson is acting for free. The 19-year-old Harry Potter star and Brown University student will be performing in a student-run production of Anton Chekhov’s play Three Sisters from March 12-15, but don’t book your trip to Providence, R.I. just yet.
According to Brown’s Production Workshop website, tickets to Three Sisters will be available on March 10 free of charge, but only to students, faculty and staff with valid Brown ID. No ID, no tickets. Take that, paparazzi!
Three Sisters is story of Olga, Masha and Irina Prozorov, who are dissatisfied with their small-town life after moving from the urban environment of Moscow. Emma and 13 other actors are involved in the production, but British star’s exact role in the play has yet to be confirmed.
The lovely British actress, Emma Watson who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films raked in some serious cash in 2009. According to a new Vanity Fair report, Watson earned more than any other female entertainer last year: $30 million, or $15 million for each Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movies. In all, Watson ranked the #14th position of highest income in 2009, which will help her pay off her tuition, as she is currently a full time student at Brown University.
Harry Potter actress Emma Watson is the biggest-grossing female actress of the last decade, as named by The Guinness Book of World Records. Emma’s films reached $5.4 billion in global box office receipts. In second placed was her Harry Potter costar Maggie Smith.
