According to The Hollywood Reporter, a recent contract issued by Disney forbade confidentiality breaches via ‘interactive media such as Facebook, Twitter or any other interactive social network or personal blog’.
At DreamWorks, writers have been told not to jump the gun on studio press releases via ‘a social networking site, blog or other internet-type site’. An entertainment lawyer told THR: ‘This is just the beginning. Hollywood has a long history of controlling what talent says in the media. This is just a new area of media that hasn’t been controlled yet.’

The film is set to hit the channel summer 2010, and here’s what we know about the movie thus far!
The sequel’s storyline follows Mitchie, Shane, Jason, Nate and their friends as they return to Camp Rock for another great summer of music and fun. However they soon learn that a new state-of-the-art music/performance camp, Camp Star, has opened across the lake and has lured away many of Camp Rock instructors and campers — putting the future of Camp Rock in jeopardy.
And when Camp Star’s hotshot performer, Luke Williams, challenges Camp Rock to a musical showdown to see which camp really has the stronger musical talent, everyone prepares for the ultimate battle of the bands. Meanwhile, in a classic “Romeo and Juliet” twist, Nate falls for the daughter of the owner of the rival camp.

Production for the Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” is underway! Many of the cast stars are already in Canada practicing their dance moves for the film, but although many of the movie’s details are set, the crew is still looking for dancers to be in the Disney film.
According to Actinginfo, the choreographer for Camp Rock 2 is currently doing the casting for dancers! In order to be considered for a role, you need to send in a recent photo of yourself, your resume and a video of your dance moves (YouTube link is fine). They are mainly looking for dancers 18 and over, but who look like they could be in high school.

“Skyrunners” is the first original movie for Disney XD. The science fiction adventure features rising star Kelly Blatz, who can also be seen playing the title role of “Aaron Stone.” Weta Workshop, the Academy Award-winning world leader in special makeup, creature and visual effects (”The Lord of the Rings,” “King Kong” and “The Chronicles of Narnia”), will design and provide the alien creature effects in the movie.
“Skyrunners” begins as teenage brothers Tyler (newcomer Joey Pollari) and Nick Burns (Blatz) commandeer a small UFO that crashes near their town. They soon realize that the spacecraft is “alive” and Tyler begins to develop superhuman abilities. When the brothers uncover an ominous alien plot to take over Earth, Tyler is captured by the extraterrestrials, so now it’s up to Nick to rescue his brother.
In addition to Pollari and Blatz, Disney XD’s “Skyrunners” stars Linda Kash (”Cinderella Man”) as Robin Burns, Conrad Coates (”Kyle XY”) as Agent Armstrong, Kerry LaiFatt (”Get Smart”) as Tori Chadwick, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (”The Bold and the Beautiful”) as Julie Gunn andNathan Stephenson (”Degrassi: The Next Generation”) as Darryl Butler.

The cast and crew of Disney’s hit original series, Sonny With A Chance created a video to Demi Lovato’s single, “La La Land.” Filmed while on set, the short music video features Sterling Knight, Doug Brochu, Brandon Smith, Tiffany Thornton, Allisyn Ashley Arm and the rest of the show’s family.

“Send it On”, the anthem performed by some of the Disney Channel’s biggest stars Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato has become an instant hit! The song was for Disney’s “Friends for Change: Project Green,” a multiplatform initiative that helps kids help the planet.
“Send it On” debuted on Radio Disney on Friday, August 7 and on iTunes on Tuesday, August 11, and the video premiered on Disney Channel on Friday, August 14.
The song has ranked in the Top 10 on the iTunes song chart since its debut, selling 87,856 tracks for .99 cents, with all proceeds benefiting environmental charities through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund (itunes.com/disneyfriendsforchange). On Radio Disney, “Send It On” has been Radio Disney’s most requested song, and was the No. 9 song on the Billboard Top Digital Song chart.
In its world television premiere on Disney Channel on Friday, August 14, the “Send It On” music video delivered 3.8 million Total Viewers, 1.1 million Adults 18-49 and 1.9 million Kids 6-14, ranking among the Top 5 telecasts on all cable. Among Women 18-34, the video was Friday’s No. 1 cable telecast, and ranked among the Top 5 most-watched videos on the network ever.
On Friday, August 28, immediately following the premiere of original movie “Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie,” Disney Channel will air a special half-hour programming event, “Lights, Camera, Take Action! Backstage with Disney’s Friends for Change,” taking viewers behind the scenes during production of the campaign featuring 29 of Disney’s stars taking part in their own messages.
