Actress/singer Ashley Tisdale celebrates her 25th birthday today (7.2).
Ashley is currently filming her Disney movie, The Fabulous Adventures of Sharpay, based off of the hit series High School Musical. Filming ends this week.

Ashley Tisdale took to Twitter to let her fans know that she is three days away from being done filming for the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” based on her character Sharpay Evans from Disney’s “High School Musical” franchise. Ashley admitted:
“3 more days left of Sharpays Fabulous Adventure…… Excited to be moving on to my next project but a bittersweet feeling…… To finally take Sharpay’s shoes off. Thank you to all my fans for all the support of letting me play this amazing character one more time.”
“Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” is set to premiere on the Disney Channel in 2011.

The first look of Ashley Tisdale as Sharpay Evan’s has been revealed in this fan photo.
Promotional pictures and press has already been underway, and more of the movie continues to fall in place. Other cast members included are set to include her Aliens In The Attic co-star, Austin Butler.
The film is set to show Sharpay as she adventures to New York to pursue her dream of acting. The Adventures of Sharpay is set to air on Disney next year.

Ashley Tidsale chatted with MTV on how her real life BFF, and High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens may guest star in Ashley’s Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure’:
‘I know [Vanessa's] super busy because she’s about to promote her movies and stuff. But we definitely do have a special cameo. You just don’t know which character it is. I do. I just can’t tell you. It’s a secret!
We just started doing everything with it. We just started the photo shoots. I’ve been in wardrobe. I leave in like four days for Toronto. It’s a character that’s kind of underneath my skin. The script shows Sharpay in a totally different light. Everyone’s in college. She’s in New York City trying to fulfill her dreams on Broadway.’

Ashley Tisdale will be seen on the big screen soon, in her upcoming film, The Last First Time.
The movie which starts filming this fall, is an apocalyptic romantic comedy in which a college freshman who is still a virgin discovers that the world is going to be destroyed by a meteor in 48 hours. Knowing this, he decides to take advantage of that and hook up with a girl he’s had a crush on since 6th grade, played by Ashley Tisdale.

Actress Ashley Tisdale wants to make “darker” movies like Juno and Superbad.
The former Disney star says she is ready to do edgier stuff.
In an interview with Nylon, the 24-year-old says: “High School Musical was one of the best, most memorable experiences of my life.
“But I’m interested in pushing forward, in moving into different kinds of roles.”
Tisdale played Sharpay in the musical series that also starred real-life high school sweethearts Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron.
“I loved playing Sharpay,” the actress says. “She is a gal who knows what she wants and goes out and gets it. I think that’s the part of the real me that came through. I’m headstrong, but I like that.”
While she tasted success in the box office hit series, she wants to move onto films like Juno, the quirky independent movie about teenage pregnancy.
“I love comedy,” she says, “and I have nothing against commercial movies.
“But I’m more interested in making movies that I would want to see, things like Juno or Superbad that are darker and drier and more edgy.
“I’m ready for a change and I’m not someone who sits around waiting for change to happen.”

Ashley Tisdale and co-star Aly Michalka attended a cheer competition recently – most likely in order to do some research for their upcoming television show “Hellcats” which is about cheering!
Ashley took to Twitter with the picture above and Tweeted:
“@78violet and I at a cheer competition lol. So much fun! Their pretty amazing!”
Ashley will be playing the Hellcats squad team captain in the new CW show, and her character is described as “Peppy and Fiercely Intense” who recruits the new girl played by Aly Michalka. Ashley and Aly’s characters will work together to get to the championship.
Filming for the pilot has begun in Canada, no word yet on a premiere date.
High School Musical alum Ashley Tisdale has joined the cast of the forthcoming CW pilotHellcats in the role of a fiesty cheerleader.
The project centers on Marti (Aly Michalka), a college girl from the wrong side of the tracks who, after losing her scholarship because of budget cutbacks and her childlike mother (Gail O’Grady), joins the Hellcats, the college’s competitive cheerleading team. Ashley will play Sierra, captain of the Hellcats
The pilot is in development at The CW and on track for fall pickup by the network Entertainment Weekly said Friday.

Ashley Tisdale will be singing in her upcoming remake of the 80′s film Teen Witch.
Ashley dished on the film: ’In the original, you know, Robin Lively didn’t sing at all, even though other girls performed. But the studio said ‘Hey, you’re a singer, right?’ They reworked the script so it can be more of a musical.’
Ashley, now 24, will play shy high school wallflower Louise, who learns she’s a descendant of the infamous Salem witches. She then uses her powers for good over evil, in high school, to make herself popular and get the guy she wants.
‘The plan is to start filming at the end of the year, so you can expect it will be a lot more modern than the original. I’m really excited about it. I think it’s going to be so much fun! Fans of the original will love it I think, and as far as it being different, I can tell you it will be a lot more current.’
