Pete Wentz updated his official site with a picture of his son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz’s nursery. The new father gave a shoutout on petewentz.com about the amazing room, confessing:
i know weve been very protective over our son and what people see. but everyone knows were huge disney fans and we wanted to give the peeps over at disney consumer products a shout out for coming in and helping design his nursery. these are pictures of the walls before we got all his gear in there. the chalk board is real. we also had the artist that draws pooh do the art. (props to jensen and disney consumer products).
If Bronx gets Miley Cyrus as a babysitter, in addition to this room, he will be the coolest celebrity child of 08′ by far.
Pete Wentz talked about his wife, Ashlee Simpson at the Kids Choice Awards and how he hopes she plays the diva on Melrose Place.
“I’m excited to watch. She’s a good actor,” Pete told Usmagazine.com at the Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday. “I think it will be awesome. I told her that I hope she gets to play the bitch.”
Ashlee, 24, and Pete, 29, didn’t grow up watching the primetime drama, which went off the air in 1999.
“She was way too young, and I was a little too young,” Pete said. “I was into 90210 and I kind of got into Melrose Place, but I was more, like, a Saved By the Bell kind of guy!”
Although Pete prefered Saved By The Bell, the new Melrose Place will have a new look to draw in a large audience.
“I think they are revamping it,” he said. “They are not ignoring [the past], but it’s getting a new look, a makeover.”
While Taylor Swift will be on CSI tonight on CBS, the next celebrity special guests are already being promoted. Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz will be playing Bonnie and Clyde wannabe’s in an upcoming episode airing on March 18th. Will you watch both episodes?
A Happy Holidays Card has made its way online with pictures of the happily married Wentz-Simpson family and they look so cute! The name Bronx is growing on me, maybe it’s the eggnog though. Before flying off to New York City to prepare for the Thanksgiving Day parade, Miley Cyrus made her way to visit friend, Pete Wentz at MTV studios for the special FN MTV taping on Monday evening. Miley offered during her last visit to FN MTV that she was happy for the couple and couldn’t wait to babysit for the both of them. Perhaps Ashlee & Pete will take her up on that offer now! I wonder how much she would charge per hour to watch over baby Bronx, if anything at all?
A very pregnant looking Ashlee Simpson is apparently as ready to give birth as she looks! The glowing mother to be is making sure to have everything ready before the baby is born, complete with a baby shower.
“She’s having a last-minute baby shower tomorrow,” an insider tells Life & Style. “The location is top secret. They’ll send out an e-mail to all invited guests early Saturday morning. She was eyeing the Bel-Air Hotel in LA — but no one will know exactly until tomorrow morning. This could be the last chance for everyone to see Ashlee before she becomes a mom.”
Husband Pete Wentz recently told Ryan Seacrest: “I am on call permanently right now. She’s at the very end, and it could happen at any point.”
I wonder who will show up to Ashlee’s baby shower? I know Jessica will, but who else!?!
Almost five months after confirming they’re expecting, it looks like Ashlee Simpson and hubby Pete Wentz are doing some last minute preparations for their baby’s nursery!
The 24-year-old musician and mother-to-be stopped in with her mom at art gallery and children’s bookstore Every Picture Tells a Story in Santa Monica, Calif. on Saturday and bought a print from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
“Ashlee looked radiant and heavily pregnant,” says an eyewitness. “She had bright red hair and looked striking. She was very sweet and had a genuine interest in the children’s art on display.”
After picking up the slightly creepy artwork, Ashlee continued on to Jenny Bec’s toy store to shop for more baby goodies.
“We’re getting the nursery ready,” Ashlee said recently. “I can’t wait to be a mom and he can’t wait to be a dad, so it’s fun.”
I am so happy for the married couple. Both Ashlee and Pete seem like very well fitted parents ready to make a healthy family work. I wish them both the best and can’t wait to see baby pictures on the OK! Magazine cover soon!
