It seems as though PETA won’t be bff with Jesse McCartney after the singer recently admitted to trying monkey brains while on vacation in Asia.
Jesse commented, “It was a little chewy and a little bland. It could have been seasoned a little bit more to tell you the truth.”
PETA chiefs are far from impressed with the star’s adventurous appetite, and insist the singer should consider becoming a vegetarian.
Spokesman Michael McGraw says, “You’d have to be bananas to eat monkey flesh, or any meat.”
“When it comes to the ability to feel pain and suffer, a monkey is no different from chickens, cows and pigs. All animals deserve respect, which is why PETA promotes a vegetarian diet.”
I was a vegetarian for eight years, so I understand PETA’s point, but they can’t hate on every person who consumes meat. Lead by example, not through open letters! At least they haven’t thrown pigs blood on him…yet.

The Money Times wrote an article on Miley Cyrus in comparison to Britney Spears and I thought it was best left as is, discussing her achievements and personal growth. They wrote:
Los Angeles, April 6: Is it Miley Cyrus playing ‘Hannah Montana’ on screen or is it a Hannah Montana doing Miley Cyrus off screen, you cannot always tell. Either way it’s one teen-queen in two famous figures.
“It’s all very confusing,” she says. “It’s not so separate. I think it’s really proven that as much as Hannah changes and as much as Miley changes, then again it’s all the same person.”
Disney’s billion-dollar ‘Hannah Montana’ franchise gave Miley Cyrus a second identity
that she is rightly proud of, but once the dream run comes to an end, there will be no Cyrus on the small screen. The 16-year-old is just not too keen on doing another television series.“I love doing Hannah Montana, but I don’t know if I would want to do another show,” Cyrus told Marc Malkin of E! Online yesterday, at the Academy of Country Music Awards at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand.
All of 16, Cyrus holds Critics’ Choice and Golden Globe nominations, a Kids’ Choice Award, an exciting Grammy performance alongside Taylor Swift, the cover of Glamour magazine and many other desirable things topped with a popularity that almost puts her next to Britney Spears.
“She’s just such a superstar that people are interested in everything she does, whether they love her or hate her. She’s that one girl that everyone has an opinion on one way or another,” says Matt Rettenmund, editor in chief of Popstar! magazine. “She’s as big as or bigger than Britney Spears.”
We’d not disagree. How many people have done enough by the age of 16, to pen it all down in a 272-page-long memoir?

Pictures from Taylor Swift in the pages of Seventeen Magazine complete with outtakes. I love this natural look on her, much more than the crazy hair and makeup for Allure.

“Miley Cyrus is undisputably the Queen. The Jonas Brothers will always now be regarded as her opening act.”
