You get a professional entertainer, poised and practiced, who’s already been the music guest on SNL and a featured performer on the Grammys before her 20th birthday. And sometimes, even in the same breath, you get a guest appearance by the not-atypical Tennessee teen you probably passed on Second Avenue without a second look.
Take the oft-raised question of whether she is really country or pop. “I don’t sit down, start writing a song and freak out, and say, ‘not country enough,’ or ‘not pop enough,’ or, ‘I’m going for this demographic or that demographic,’ ” Swift says, now rehearsing for her imminent summer tour. “I just write music. And I try not to overcomplicate things with how people might perceive it.”“”
It seems that plans to move forward with a Gossip Girl spinoff are already underway. Star magazine is reporting that Brittany Snow has been cast in the lead role in the new show.
“Brittany is thrilled,” a friend of the former American Dreams star says.
“She loves [Gossip Girl] and thinks the 1980s concept sets the spin-off apart. She can’t wait to wear all the fabulous outfits and really sink her teeth into the role.”
Brittany Snow – who has appeared in Hairspray and John Tucker Must Die – was the top choice for producers, who thought she would be the perfect choice for the part of young Lily. She was reportedly offered the role without an audition.

Emma Watson recently blogged that she got accepted into Yale, the prestigious Ivy League school in Connecticut. “I got accepted to Yale!” she wrote.
Last time I heard, Emma was still leaning toward going to college in England, so who knows if she will accept, but Yale is pretty difficult to decline!

While the publicity is hot, Rihanna released her latest single, ‘Whippin My Hair’ to the internets on Friday. The uptempo song has been making its rounds although has not been recieving as much love as some of her other releases.
