Disney Channel has an upcoming movie titled, Princess Protection Program but it seems as though the idea follows almost exactly to a movie that former Disney Lizzie McGuire actress Lalaine is starring in that was once titled Princess, but recently changed to Royal Kill.
Royal Kill was filmed in Washington around three years ago, but due to the fact it was an Independent movie, it took longer to edit, produce and land itself with a release date which is set to release June 7th 2009. Below are the two plots for the movie’s and see if the similarities are as obvious to you as they are to us here.
Princess/Royal Kill’s Plot: A high school teenage girl in America finds out that she is the last living heir to the Kingdom of Samarza. An assassin has been sent to kill the young princess while a noble guard has been sent to protect her.
Princess Protection Program’s Plot: When a tiny country is invaded by a dictator, a young Princess (later known as Rosie) is taken into custody by the Princess Protection Program. She is whisked away to rural Wisconsin where she must learn the ins and outs of behaving like a normal American teenager.
Interesting! Expecially since both were titled Princess and Princess Protection Program, and Lalaine looks very similar to Demi Lovato. Wonder what Disney will make of this, if they even try to say anything at all. The only difference we see between the two is one isn’t as sugar coated as the other. Taylor Swift will be the musical guest on tomarrow’s Saturday Night Live and Taylor took the time to talk about her experiences on set and the upcoming episode.
Taylor gets a dig in, saying that Doogie Howser used to make her cry, because she was a baby! “I cannot believe that I get to be here and actually do this,” Taylor says. “This is one of those dreams that I put up here on a shelf and I never thought I’d actually get to do.”
Neil teases her about her height, saying “Taylor Swift is lovely and — contrary to popular belief — pretty tall. She’s, like, 5′7″ .. 5′8″ and then wears heels and is 7′2″. It’s remarkable!”
Youtube also has videos of Taylor Swift and Neil Patrick Harris taking cameras behind the scenes of tomarrow’s episode, but the videos are being down so quickly I’ll leave the adventure to a working video to you.

Rumors had been spreading like wildfire recently as to if either Brends Song or Vanessa Hudgens would be playing the role of Leah in the movie, New Moon. While both leading ladies are talented actresses, Brenda responded by stating that it was an honor to have individuals consider her to do well playing the native, she puts the rumor to rest saying she was not offered the role, and the rumor was, just that- a rumor.
Brenda Song talked with M Magazine saying: “I’m so honored to be a part of this rumor! I love the Twilight series and would love to be a part of the movie, but sadly this is just a rumor.”
Taylor Swift has a 2009 Calendar out for purchase, and the pictures of her are stunning. We just wish there was twelve pictures instead of being sorted three months at a time.
