Social Butterflies

I was going to post this a few weeks back with the Metro Station Concert post, but I put it off, and going through the e-mails today with sightings reminded me. At the Grove of Anaheim on November 30th Lauren and myself went to the Metro Station concert which had amazing opening acts such as Cash Cash and The White Tie Affair, but it was brought to life even more so when Miley Cyrus took the stage to present her brother, Trace and all of Metro for their performance. She came out quickly unannounced and talked for just under a minute and then ran off stage, but from where we were we could see Miley was singing and dancing along throughout the entire concert. Afterwards we made our way outside to see her hanging out by her car with the Cyrus family. She was near us for awhile but we didn’t want to bother them since they were enjoying the private time, so we walked around to watch an acostic outdoor performance by Cash Cash where more people were and had assumed the Cyrus family had left.

We headed back around after and a group of fans had gathered, we assumed it was for Metro Station, and since I love Mason I was waiting for him, but Miley ended up walking by and signing every shirt and paper that was presented in front of her, even stopping for a few photographs.

She signed for a few minutes before Billy Ray came by for autographs and then they left. They both were very nice saying hello to all of the fans closest to the gate when they didn’t have to, but we never saw Trace or Mason afterwards which was slightly dissapointing since their set was only 25 minutes long. We left pretty quickly after seeing the Cyrus family though we didn’t stay for autographs, but we saw enough to notice that they were very humble when it came to their fans. So that was our encounter with Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray and it was quite random and interesting,  but I’d trade it in for quality Mason time, anytime.
