The Jonas Brothers have been keeping busy lately with their new book, tour dates, t.v. show J.O.N.A.S. and filming the Walt Disney Christmas Parade. Although they’re busy boys juggling work and girls, they found time to update their Official Blog on their day off, here’s what they had to say:
Hey everyone!
There has been so much happening recently. We have been working on the new show (JONAS), recording music, doing a few shows, etc.
This week was Kevin’s birthday so we took the last day to celebrate his birthday with family, the band, and a few friends. It is so awesome to stop and appreciate all that has happened to us because of all of you.
We are writing this from the beach…doing nothing! First time we have stopped in a while. Can’t get better than this. We are already feeling refreshed.
Thanks for all the positive comments on the Skating special yesterday. Also, thanks for the amazing response to our little SayNow message. Thinking we will be sending even more.

While Taylor Swift seems full of confidence now, the songstress reveiled to The Tennessean that she hasn’t always been so self-assured. Her now signature curly blonde locks once made her an outcast by her Middle School Peers that had her eating alone at lunch.
“I tried so hard to be like everybody else and do what they did and like the things the liked,” she said. “I tried so hard and it didn’t work. They still didn’t want to be friends with me; they would still leave the lunch table when I sat down. So I found that trying to be like everyone else doesn’t work.
“It’s just better to be yourself and embrace the things about yourself that are different instead of trying to cover them up.”
Now that this Eighteen year old is no longer trying to fit in with the cool lunch table kids, with age she has found that there are new battles with influencial companies that have much more say than in middle school. Taylor confides however, that she will speak her mind if she isn’t comfortable with a sitation she is placed in:
“I’ve gotten (to photo shoots) and they had a wardrobe rack and the only things hanging on the wardrobe racks were bras and bustiers,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Cool. Where are the clothes?’ ‘Those are the clothes.’
“No, no, no. Let’s get clothes. I wear clothes.”
On staying grounded and having positive influences and friends around:
“I don’t want to be so bored that I decide to go if someone invites me out clubbing. I don’t want to tempt myself with that because you never know what you’ll do if you are lonely enough.”

Hannah Montana star, Mitchel Musso was recently in Texas to help promote a Health PSA on Washing Hands. Speaking for Clean Hands Are Cool Hands his elementary school stops were well listened to in that by washing our hands frequently, expecially before we eat, it lowers our chances of getting sick (since this is the flu and cold season). I’m thrilled to see a young disney male getting involved with younger kids and spreading the word of health. Way to go, Mitchel!

Hilary Duff recently sat down with News and Tribune to discuss her recent trips of charity work with Blessings In A Backpack.
On managing her career with her volunteer activities.
Hilary says she loves her career, but that the volunteer work “really brings me back down to earth and keeps me grounded and makes me appreciate every little thing that happens in my life and everything that I have.” Really wonderful words.
Hilary is a very humble person, and very generous, so when it comes time to talking to a small group of her fans at these schools, she gets more nervous than singing in front of thousands of fans:
“It’s not like it’s a huge crowd of people. I can see everyone’s faces and they’re all taking my picture. I feel like a normal girl. So all that attention kind of flusters me, I guess, in the most positive way. I feel flattered at the same time. I feel shy, too, I guess.”

Just wanted to take a quick minute to let you know that there are a few tour dates coming up! I know I will be in Phoenix in November and several others but I promise to give details as soon as I know for sure.
Also, I don’t want to drive you crazy…….but I just saw the NEW SEVENTEEN FOREVER MUSIC VIDEO by METRO STATION….and it will blow you away! They shot the video like the Lost Boys movie and it all takes place in an abandoned carnival in the middle of nowhere and it’s just great! Be looking for it to be out in the next few weeks!
I have just come from the studio where I recorded several songs for several Disney Projects that I am very excited about….your going to find my music popping up in all sorts of places. Every day I am trying to create something new.
I hope you guys get a chance to watch the new Disney Episodes airing in November. There is a special episode that will air first in November where Oliver has a secret……..
